This is the only bank I have ever been "Associated" with that allows purchases to be done without the Billing Address being correct. And the Vice President of Customer Care, Alyssa V, has made a statement saying this is perfectly alright for Amazon to charge a Associated Bank debit card that isn't even authorized for payment for anything in Amazon, and Amazon did so TWICE with a billing address (including the zip code) that was updated by Amazon and was 4 states away from being the correct address— And Associated Bank allowed the charges TWICE in the same week that a different default credit card was used to make an on purpose Amazon Prime purchase with a real credit card with an available credit line of over $9k yet that is with a real bank, who WILL NOT give any funds to anyone with the wrong billng address.

Associated Bank strikes an ideal balance between providing a comprehensive banking experience and fostering personal connections. The staff at my local branch is familiar with me and even greets me when I am shopping at the grocery store. Their friendly and patient demeanor has been consistent throughout my interactions with the bank. Additionally, the mobile deposit feature for checks is intuitively designed and user-friendly.

I had a credit card with Associated Bank, who have outsourced their credit card management to Elan Financial Services. Literally the only thing I used that card for was my utilities and phone bill (because of the promotional 5% cash back in those categories), to the tune of maybe $200/month on average, but Elan closed my account without cause, and believe it or not, the reason they cited for the account closure was their belief that I was using my card for criminal activity.

Just took out a HELOC with this bank, and they are extremely careful, which is exactly what I need out of a bank!

This bank is ok. I’ve had a few problems since signing up to bank through them but they have been resolved.
