Astro Abby Photography Opiniones 

Recently completed a 3 session workshop with Abby on shooting the Milky Way - firstly online pre planning, then night shoot in North Wiltshire shooting the Milky Way, and finally an online session covering post production. Excellent on all fronts - Abby is a natural teacher, with enthusiasm matched by skill and knowledge, so is ideally suited for newbies and experienced astro photographers. Fully recommend her for anyone interested in astro.

Abby was a welcome guest speaker at Stroud Camera Club - the presentation was top quality, both in terms of the photography and her own personality and delivery. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and highly recommended talk for any camera club.

I was with Abby's tour in La Palma recently, and it was a fantastic experience. Abby seems to have boundless energy and patience, along with great knowledge of how to take and process Astro Photography shots.
It was truly the trip of a lifetime to this island, and the expertise of both Abby and Robert made this a fantastic experience.

Abby gave a brilliant talk about her Landscape Astrophotography to an appreciative audience at the Norman Lockyer Observatory’s 2026 Astrofair.
Her nightscape pictures were astounding, and she went into great detail as to how to obtain great shots of the night sky using fairly simple equipment. Many thanks Abby!

Wonderful tour to La Palma for astrophotography. Abby is extremely knowledgeable and passionate, and she really conveys that she is there to help her clients.

I have had the privilege of working with Abby as an astrophotographer for six years. Her boundless energy, unquenchable enthusiasm, technical brilliance and unique style make memorable and exceptional experiences. There is no-one better in this business.

Went on an astrophotography course with Abby. It was a small group of 6. She explained everything so well and made it all easy to understand. We went out to a beautiful spot where she helped us put everything into practice and took time with each of us to make sure we understood. Nothing was too much trouble for Abby. A fantastic experience and which has reignited my love of the stars.

I had an absolutely amazing session with Abby!! I was initially a bit reluctant, but she had us engaged right from the very beginning of the 6-hour class. She was incredibly supportive, explained every detail of astrophotography so clearly, and patiently addressed all our doubts.

I went on an Astro Photography workshop with Abby and a group of 5 people on the 14th of March. I thought she was fabulous; she explained what we were going to do and then went through it step by step on how to do it in a way that made it sound so simple. We then went and did some practical and again she was on hand for everyone who needed help; nothing was too much for her. I came away with my interest in photography again, and a new interest in Astro photography which I will defiantly be perusing.

Went on an Astro Photography workshop with Abby - she is brilliant at explaining everything you need to know in simple terms - and if you wanted a bit more, she can provide the detail too. Then we went out into a beautiful starry night and put it all into practise. The support she gave us to make sure that we all got some good photos was more than expected. Just fabulous!! I would do it again.

Abby delivered an outstanding presentation to the local photography clubs in Shrivenham.

Whilst we marvelled at her beautiful photography, she also gave us really useful insights into planning our own shoots.

It was a good evening session, with many an ooooh and an aaaaah! My club are now all astro converts and often quote the very knowledgeable and informative Abby. Subscribers to Photopils doubled after her session!

Even if you're not into staying up late with flasks of tea and thermals to keep warm whilst taking photos, Abby is an inspirational presenter who will make you think more about those night skies.

Abby is a gifted teacher and easily passes on her understanding and enthusiasm for Astrophotography in this outstanding 1/2 day course. Suitable for all levels of experience the workshop covers session planning, camera settings and techniques to ensure success in this special topic.

The venue Abby used was perfect for the small group and the process of teaching, discussion and a great dinner enhanced the experience.

The icing on the cake was the practical session out under the sky after dark when, despite some heavy rain showers, we were able to put the learnings into practice with Abby’s guidance.

Excellent 1/2 day introductory course.
Abby’s material was well structured and presented , with lots of practical tips and examples to illustrate. Plenty of opportunities to ask questions . A nice group.
The venue and food was very good.
The practical session brought it all together with plenty of support and tips. The “challenging” weather added to the experience and brought home the realities of achieving good results in the uk !

As an Astro beginner this workshop was pitched just right to give me a better understanding of the fundamentals. This included covering camera settings, tips on kit, useful apps & suggestions on software. There were 5 of us on this particular course with a mix of DSLRs & mirrorless cameras. The group size enabled everyone to ask plenty of questions & get great advice. The final part of the course was a practical session outside which worked well despite unfavourable weather. I thoroughly recommend Astro Abby’s workshop.
