Brought a car from Autotrade Southwest yesterday, Lia dealt with us and was very helpful, honest and friendly. They have a good range of cars and keep you stocked up on coffee.

An overall fantastic experience from start to finish.

Friendly, attentive staff and a great range of cars to choose from. The car we chose was ready to collect when promised and prepared immaculately inside and out. A special shout out to Lia who was absolutely lovely and helped us out no end. No pushy sales at all. Anyone who is considering purchasing from this garage, do not hesitate!

I have recently viewed a very nice Car (BMW) at the site in Berkley Heath. The service I received from Tom and his colleagues was exceptional, he was polite and knowledgeable, listening to my requirements. I was offered Tea or Coffee, and we discussed the various options. Looking throughout the reviews before I write mine, like a number of garages, there are mixed reviews. For me, the whole process of buying a car was painless. Ben was the salesperson I dealt with throughout the process and I found him to be polite and professional. I would definitely consider using AutoTrade SouthWest again in the future.

Absoloutely shocking. Don’t buy from them. The worst service I’ve ever had from a car company.
Sold a van with ‘apparent ‘warranty. I STILL 3 months later have not had any information or paperwork about the warranty having asked numerous times. The clutch went within 270 miles of leaving the garage. Apparently this was not covered in the ‘warranty ‘ which is just someone’s word if mouth because I have no warranty details to compare it to.
I was told the company would make a good Will payment towards the cost of the new clutch, but surprise suprise it’s turns out now that they aren’t going to honour that. Apparently now having had the work done to be able to drive the van, that was only a ‘we’ll see if we will make a good Will payment’ and apparently I got a good deal on a van when even without the clutch it is in far worse a state than makes it worth the price I paid for it.
The one sale lady Lia was absolutely lovely. Having brought 7/8 vans over the past few years and never had any problems and nothing but brilliant service from other garages. This is the worst garage treatment I have ever had. It has caused me a lot of stress and upset. I couldn’t recommend buying a vehicle from this garage to anyone. And still up to today I have not been provided with details or a copy of the ‘supposed’ warranty that I was sold a vehicle with.
Shocking gargae

The initial communication went well. Paperwork etc. when travelling to collect my vehicle I was told there was an issue, so I had to wait another week which was a shame as I had started my journey and forked out for a train ticket.
When I finally collected the vehicle and got it home it had a bad smell coming from the rear tyre and I had to have work done, it had a seized rear piston. So after days of having the vehicle it was off the road for well over a week and I was without a car. Making the school run impossible.
Upon inspection of the vehicle the cambelt hasn’t been changed for some time so I had a huge expense fixing that.
I then had a full service where it was found that parts hadn’t been changed for a very long time and they were in a bad condition.
A little later down the line I have a constant issue with the oil light coming on. Just have to top it up often, which is something I’ve never had to do in another vehicle.
Then the clutch went and I have a £1500 bill to pay to get it back on the road, it has been a month without a car which has made my life so stressful. Especially over the Christmas period.

I spoke to Matt and other staff, they refused to help me considering all the issues I’ve had. Never have I bought a vehicle with so many issues. And so little help from the company.

I would be very careful when purchasing from this company. I’ve had problem after problem and I cannot exchange the vehicle as they won’t help me with it, said it’s going to cost me a fortune to pay off the finance, really upsetting experience.

Very reluctant to help. Car is an absolute money pit.

Hi love this garage they have very nice cars there great staff and Matt is the one who knows all about cars I bought my RS3 of them last year I did have a few problems but flip me they got it back in and soughted it👍 I have just bought another car of them as had such a great experience before they are a very trustworthy company so happy days 👍

Tom oversaw our car purchase very professionally. We knew which car we wanted so after a test drive we just needed to buy it. Car was MOT'd before purchase as it had less than 3 months left on the current certificate.

Very smooth process. No problems at all.

Great communication from Tom. The car was as as described and Tom even provided a video, which was massively helpful, particularly since it was a 4 hour journey for me to view and test drive the vehicle. The transaction was smooth and professional at every step.

ALARM BELLS Should have RUNG IN MY HEAD WHEN A CAR SALES company asked for a deposit to LOOK at a car

Reading the reviews it sounds like a lot of people have lost money on that "deposit"

But we did it and liked the car, so we paid the money and drove the car away

After a day it was clear the car had a problem, asked the garage to take it back under their 14 day return policy

We took it back and left the car with them, following day they said they won't take it back

They said

"it was fine, you must have damaged it!"

We collect the car and took to a local garage, the car had been repaired with incorrect cheaper parts

The garage I took it to said that the car is "not safe in this condition and should have never had an MOT"

AUTOTRADE SOUTHWEST gave this car a new MOT when collecting the car

So they are either bad at what they do, or they know what they are doing and are total dishonest (I personally think they know what they are doing)

We had no choice than to pay for replacement parts and carry out the work to make the car safe and usable

I could go on and on but I'm to upset to think about it

Buy a bike EVEN WALK before you buy a car from this garage
