On 06/02/25 I ordered a rug (to be made to order in Morocco) for 900 euros. By 29/07/25 (more than five months later) I had heard nothing and I emailed Aventyr through their website to request an update. I received no reply. At this point I assumed I'd been scammed. On 30/12/25 I received a WhatsApp from Aventyr saying they had tried to contact me by email (I had received no email - checked my junk folder etc.) and wanted to send me my rug. After multiple requests from me for updates, the rug was finally shipped a month later on 29/01/26. The rug didn't arrive and it took until 24/02/26 to get the shippers UPS to admit that they had lost the rug. At this point Aventyr made me aware that they had, without my knowledge or permission, undervalued the rug for shipping, meaning that realistic compensation would not be paid by UPS. I asked Aventyr for a refund, as is my right when goods don't arrive under EU consumer law, and the company refused, on the grounds that on their website they state that no refund will be issued if you don't like the rug when you receive it - an entirely different situation. They offered a rug in another size but since the whole point of ordering was that I could get a rug in a particular size, this seemed an inadequate resolution. Out of the blue and without further communication from UPS, the rug arrived on 10/03/26. The rug is the size I ordered and of good quality. Be aware that if your goods go missing in transit, you will not be offered a refund.

Scam, plain and simple. Ordered a custom carpet and sent multiple inquiries asking for an update on my order after the 4-month waiting period had passed. Never got a response. Only got a response once I submitted a PayPal claim to get my money back. The response was nasty and laughable. It only confirmed what I already knew by then - all a scam.

Äventyr hat eine ungefähre Lieferzeit von bis zu 16 Wochen. Wir haben 7 Monate auf unseren Teppich gewartet, das ist zwar sehr lang, aber dafür ist die Qualität wirklich herausragend. Sehr schöner, handgefertigter Teppich, ein echtes unikat. Nur der Service ist wirklich schlecht. Sie könnten wenigstens die wartenden Kunden auf dem Laufenden halten. Auf E-mails wurde gar nicht reagiert, nur bei Instagram war eine Kontaktaufnahme möglich. Mein Fazit: Man kann da bestellen, man muss nur seeeeehr viel Geduld mitbringen.

Ordered a tailored made rug, paid €800 and waited more than 4 months for it.
Once it arrived the color and quality were different than promised. Raised the issue immediately and wanted to ask at least for a discount but I almost had to stalk them to get any reply. Told them I would leave bad reviews but there is absolutely no way to leave them any reviews and now I understand why.
Total scam and don’t recommend

Do you not buy from here. I ordered 2 rugs 7 months ago. One never arrived, the other came but was made in the wrong colour length and pattern. Company would not respond to let me send it back. I can't get hold of them despite trying to contact them for months for a refund.I realise not the 'positive' reviews on their website are fake seeing as there is no way to leave them reviews. They owe me over £1000 and there is no way of getting it back.
