Puzzled by some of the negative reviews about the returns process - which is so important when buying climbing shoes online. I didn't know which size to get, so bought 2 pairs with the intention of keeping one and returning the other. This could not have been easier. Order arrived the day after purchasing. The return instructions were clear and went well. Refund received after about a week. Will use Banana Fingers again.

I had a really great experience with Kitty who very swiftly dealt with my query and sorted it out instantly as I had gotten confused about a shipment date. Really fantastic experience and after several purchases, I will continue to use banana fingers in the future. I would highly recommend! Kitty was also super friendly and just generally very helpful and pleasant to deal with!

I placed an order, but the item was never posted and was then out of stock. Apparently the order was just missed in the warehouse. Not good. So once the item was back in stock I re-ordered and again, nothing.

This time they won't reply to my e-mails (5 days and counting) and they won't answer their telephone, ever, as other reviewers have pointed out.

Avoid! Go elsewhere. The fulfillment and customer service are truly dreadful.

Top quality equipment, unbeatable range online and in store, highly knowledgeable staff and great prices. Its a shame I don't live closer!
I've done online orders a few times and customer service and speed was good.
The standout experience was on two separate occasions when I have been instore and was helped to find some great climbing shoes that fot perfectly in my price range. I went back for approach shoes and had the same great experiance.

Kitty at Banana fingers has been immensely helpful and responsive on 2 occasions around the purchase of the same pair of climbing shoes. When initially ordered, she was able to fast track the delivery of the shoes during the festive period, meaning they were still able to arrive on time despite a mixup at the warehouse. Then, when the shoes had a manufacturer defect, kitty was responsive and helpful in organising the return.

These issues happen and are unfortunate but are no fault of BF. The way that they were dealt with though made the experience for me as the customer so much better and less stressful than they otherwise would have been. It’s that piece of mind that will keep me coming back to purchase from them again!

One of the best and most caring people ever!!!! Got my problem sorted in no time with a very lovely attitude that uplifted and made my day so much better!!! 10/10 would recommend anyone to look at BF for any kind of equipment

Found their website by chance ,had some amazing prices on a couple of things i had been looking for a long time. 40 percent off no brainer. Ordered and received within 3 days . Brilliant.will definitely be using their website again .

An absolutely flawless buying experience at Bananafingers.

I found an item on their website that I hadn't seen available in my size or particular colour scheme anywhere else.

Placed my order late on Friday afternoon, within a very short time received a shipping notification (really surprised me, considering late on a Friday afternoon).

I live in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland and everything takes quite a bit longer to arrive here. Amazed to have item delivered on Monday morning.

Exactly as described and at a great price. Really cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Would shop again in an instant.

Superb delivery service at least - ordered Saturday night, delivered Monday morning! Haven't had to return anything but great experience so far, cheap too.

I ordered some climbing shoes last week from their website for the first time. From minute one amazing customer service resolving all my questions super fast. Unfortunately I’ve ordered the wrong size and had to return them for a size exchange. Had no hope I’ll get them before Christmas but these guys amaze me once again and I’ve the new shoes back in two days!!! Massive thank you for your great service, I’ll definitely recommend to all my friends and will use in future! 🩷

I have to say I hesitated before ordering, after checking previous reviewers issues. The price was good though, and all's good - delivered within 2 days of ordering. Many thanks guys!

Misleading way of explaining their refund and return policy. Their website says 'wrong shoe size? Don't panic, so long as you have not worn them it is not a problem.' But oh it was all a problem.
Long story short I'm stuck with 2 pairs of shoes that don't fit and paid customs for nothing.
And their customer service treatment was cold as ice.

I ordered a pair of Scarpa crux, to replace my very old worn out ones, on Saturday and they arrived on Monday with no problems at all. I would definitely use them again, the price was very good aswell.

Having ordered previously with no issue, I expected that BananaFingers would deliver the same service for a second time.

Disappointingly, the 48HR postage, was not actually 48 hours. I ordered well before 1200 and the same day I received a dispatch confirmation email, according to this email and the Royal Mail service they had used, I expected the parcel would be with me after 2 days. I have used RM thousands of times, as a seller and as a customer and I can understand that sometimes delays happen. However, even after 2 days, the tracking was still showing 'we're expecting your item' -which in my experience means that the item has not been received by the depot (in which case it would update, to 'we have your item' or something to that effect').

When I emailed BF 2 days later, without any update- they immediately blamed Royal Mail for delays. I did challenge back to ask whether it had been collected or not, and then within 30 minutes, somehow the tracking had updated saying that the parcel had been received in the depot?

I don't know how this seemed to update only after I had enquired, but in any case- it was only received by the depot more than 48 hours later! So I received the package after 4 days.

A bit disappointing if I'm honest. Would have happily paid more for express shipping, but now not sure that that would have been on time either.

I've used Bananafingers for the purchase of quite a lot of my climbing equipment.

The customer service from Kitty has always been excellent. She responds very quickly and is attentive to customers requests.

Products can be well priced, exactly as described and arrive quickly in good condition.

However, just recently I placed an order for some equipment and it was partially shipped (some of the items on the order were not sent). These items were in stock at the time of ordering. It's taken days of back and forth emails to get Matteo to understand which items weren't shipped, and they still haven't been sent despite having a promise that they would be.

It's obvious which items they were since the items are on the order invoice but not on the shipment 22000053897.

I'm hopeful these items will actually turn up before my planned trip, but annoying since I placed the order well in advance and had to explain and direct Matteo how to solve my issue.

Probably refrain from using BF again.
