Great Salon and lovely staff. Had the Japanese Head Spa today, pure bliss! Would definitely recommend this treatment. Beautiful lighting and the jets felt so relaxing. Lovely kind staff.

Today I visited Beauty Temple Castle Donnington. From the moment walking through the door it felt welcoming & calm. My treatment was amazing, my therapist friendly but professional. Just the right amount of pressure during the back massage then the facial well I didn't want it to end. I have booked another treatment there in a few weeks. Thank you 😊

Super gel toe nails as always. Dionne did a great job and was lovely to chat to as she did my nails.

I had a very disappointing experience at Beauty Temple today. My appointment was booked for 10:15am, and the confirmation email asked clients to arrive 15 minutes early, so I arrived at 9:45am.

After checking in, I was told to wait. Multiple staff members were at reception chatting while other customers who arrived later were being taken inside. By 10:30am, nobody had updated me or apologised for the delay, and I felt completely ignored.

When I asked to cancel and requested a refund, a staff member suddenly appeared and said they were ready for me. By that point, I no longer felt comfortable continuing with the appointment and chose to leave.

I understand delays can happen, but basic communication and respect for customers’ time are important. The lack of acknowledgment and professionalism made this a very upsetting experience.

The worst place in Stamford to go for any beauty treatments. This was a nightmare experience. Lash & Brow tint. She first placed the eye pads toot high but didn’t ask if they were comfortable. Then she got the product chemical in my eyes. When I alerted her to this she did act immediately gave no instruction whatsoever. I had to get out the chair repeatedly stating I need something to get the chemical out. She passed me a cotton pad. Clearly incompetent I then asked her for more than this. I told her I needed a basin. He showed me into the kitchen sink. Totally unhygienic and dreadful area to try and rinse your eyes out. Then she didn’t inform me I should go this for 15 mins so no after care. My eyes were red blood shot and stinging and remained irritated for days. I thought I’d permanently damaged them but only temporary thank goodness. No immediate apology or concern she just said well at least your lashes took! Seriously! they offered me the insult of a refund and a trip to another salon. I had just had surgery so could not drive to another salon! I did not and would not go to an establishment that provides such a low level of standards in all areas so this was not a solution. I’m concerned that they are working outside licence in breach of health and safety and also neglect of care. Presentation of staff were poor no uniforms. Whilst I appreciate this may happen it was the response to it that I take umbrage with. Dreadful. There are so many other salons in Stamford… I will not be returning!!

I’m sorry to say the Stamford Salon has gone down hill over last few months , my visit today was awful . Staff looked untidy and in professional , got put in a box room , room cold, stained bedding , poor quality products , had to move rooms as heated bed was broke , toilet area was dirty, bins over flowing , tiles thick with dust , sink dirty, floor dirty , doors dirty hand prints over them ,just really poor , I asked for an Elemis facial and they used own branded products , just very poor will not return

I don’t recommend working with them. They don’t pay properly, they cheat, they cut pay for working hours, and they don’t pay commission.

Enjoyed yet again, a 90 mins fully body massage and facial, at the City Centre branch with the lovely Elisha
She was very friendly and extremely professional, with an excellent technique for both the massage and the facial
After a stressful few days, I came home feeling very relaxed and revived!
I would highly recommend, and will be back again soon 😊

On the surface this place looks fantastic and very different to other beauty salons,
Each time I go I walk out saying never again, today I visited for the last time.

I booked gel nails and toes for my daughter, mini facial and a back massage for me. Spending over £150 - they use cheap non branded products, the place is now looking so tired and dirty - the carpet is black from dirt with the original colour to the edge. After 30 minutes of leaving my daughter’s gel nails had come off! She later told me that her nail technician told her she had learnt how to do nails by watching a few you tube videos - seriously?!
It just feels like this is a pure profit driven business and not a luxury service that they are trying to portray.

The worst customer service I have ever come across ever . Rude staff horrible experience. Please save your money and use it elsewhere.

I will try to be as honest as I can. I booked an Indulge yourself in this ancient thermal massage experience. Muscle tension will melt away from your entire body as your therapist provides a blissful, deep tissue massage using skin-enriching oils and heated stones to create a unique and luxurious massage. £60 for 25 mins.

I explained I had a lot of neck and shoulder tension. I have to say 80% of the deep tissue massage was like up and down the back with oils, very little if any deep tissue massage, practically zero shoulder and neck massage. So all in all if feel ripped off of £60 hard earned wages on something that didn't do what it offered on the description. The therapist isn't as well versed in this treatment as it requires. Sorry Beauty Temple, I'm not happy, nor relaxed and probably more tense than when I arrived. Not all therapists are good at everything and that needs to be considered.

I had an appointment at one, I was still sitting waiting at ten past one, she was working on somebody else, she popped her head around the curtain, no apologies, just looked at me then went back to her other customer. I left, I think she needs a lesson on how to run a business

Visited beauty temple Castle Donnington several times and was a customer at Owl House previously today’s Japanese Head spa wasn’t great and I’ll not be returning. Firstly when I phoned to check the appt time I was told I wasn’t booked in despite me previously booking and paying a deposit. It appears the staff member booked it under a different name that person got an email and phoned the salon to say they’ve not booked anything so it was just cancelled. She added me back in for this morning.
Therapist was clumsy and the head cover that was used during fell on me due to not being secured correctly
The treatment was loud water was intermittent in temperature and not that relaxing, there’s splashback from the water that’s being applied to the hair and I wasn’t offered a towel to dry my neck, shoulders, face and upper body after.
Didn’t feel comfortable also shampoo was going in my ears which isn’t pleasant not worth the price and blow dry after which I didn’t pay for luckily was awful.
Not impressed. Will avoid in future.

After Beauty Temple being recommended to me I booked a first appointment on 12 June 2025 for a wash cut and blow dry and also explained that I would like my hair and make up done on 6 September 2025 for my son’s wedding. This was booked before my first appointment. Once my hair had been cut etc I made a further appointment, just for a further trim on 24 July 2025 in readiness for my styling etc for 6 September. On the morning of 24 July I received a call from Beauty Temple saying there’s was a problem with my appointment on 6 September as a bridal party was booking in on the same day and would it be possible to change my appointment time to 8.30 am on the morning of my son’s wedding. I had to say no for two reasons the first is that I have to take my grand-daughter to the bride’s house for her hair to be done then pick her up afterwards which has been worked in around my appointment time and secondly I am suffering with excessive sweating at the moment which if my hair and make up was to be done so early there would be nothing left of it by 2pm. I explained this to them and they said that all would be ok. On arriving for my appointment on that same day I walked into the salon to overhear 3/4 staff talking about me and the fact that I couldn’t accommodate the change. What was said before I do not know but I was under the distinct impression that they were not happy that I would not change my appointment time. They then realised I was actually sat waiting for my appointment. A few days after being reassured that all was good for my appointment, I received a voicemail from Beauty Temple telling me that they were cancelling my appointment completely. I returned the call and when I asked why when this had already been discussed and sorted I was given excuse after excuse but I know that it was because they had ‘a better offer’ with the bridal party. The person I spoke to then offered to come in on her day off (6 September) purposely to do my hair and make up. I declined. After all the messing me about they did, did they honestly think I would book again only to be potentially let down at the 11th hour. No way!!! I requested my deposit back to firstly be told that it is not salon policy to return deposits (???) they did finally agree to do this and proceeded to take a further amount of money OUT OF my account. This money finally returned to my bank account ONE WEEK LATER. Beauty Temple lost 3 clients that day and no doubt many more if this is the way they treat their customers. Disgusting.

I ordered a Wimbledon Package for my friends brithday and added a 2 x glasses of Prosecco
Arrived to a childrens pamper party and after 10 munites waiting we was taken into a room to the right at the top of the stairs.
Having the treatments it sounded like they had an event on in the next room as people was so load, the door kept banging, people making loads of noise, up and down the stairs. The ladies giving the treatment kept appologised.
Finished the treatment and was taken to the cafe where I was told that the Prosecco was not included, I questioned it again and asked if they could check. I was told that it was not and as I didn't want to cause a seen I let it go and ordered a tea.
The next day I emailed saying what had happened and could they refund the amount. They confirmed I had paid for it and must have been some confusion. I was advised that no refunds are given so basically I paid for something we did not get.
Shocking service and if i could give no reviews then I would have.

I booked over the phone for an appointment at West Bridgford, only realised on checking my email the night before that they had booked me into city centre branch. This wasn’t my choice of salon. Reception do not make it clear that the phone line gets transferred to city centre at times and reception do not ask which salon you wish to book with either. I attended city centre salon this morning. Prompt treatment for brow wax and tint but then had to wait another 40 mins to get my lash lift done. All treatments were good but had to tweezer some hairs on one brow at home. No after care advice provided with lash lift however. Not the best experience at a pricy salon. 10am appointment took ages in the end.

Staff are lovely and friendly. Waited about 10 mins before we’re called through. Booked for hot stones but the hot stones were, unfortunately, hardly used in the treatment which was disappointing as pay extra for use of these. Massage was absolutely amazing though. Had double room with my sister and therapists were Courtney and Teigan. Lovely relaxing massage thank you. Need glitter for the glitter bombs, but did not detract from how delicious they tasted!

I Love the Stamford salon! It was my first time visiting today, as I entered the staff were very welcoming, Terri was very kind and introduced me to the other ladies who were doing my treatments, I had a gel on my toenails by Nicole which look amazing! She took her time and always made sure I was comfortable throughout the service! I also had a facial/massage by Sasha, it was so relaxing and was just what I needed! I’m convinced she has magic hands! I will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks Ladies ☺️
