Looked at this sofabed last year, but only purchased it this year.
Helpful staff member in the Gloucester branch was able to sort everything out and agree a delivery date. Very efficient and friendly. I hadn't bought furniture for many years, so £49 delivery charge was unavoidable, if expensive.
Very happy with my experience with Bensons for Beds.
Tracking my package was good, but I didn't get a phone call 30 minutes before delivery, as mentioned in their confirmation email. Happy with the delivery staff putting my package in the room I wanted it.

Ordered beds in May but completion on…
Ordered beds in May but completion on our new apartment was not till end July Bensons were very patient. 21st July Ben & his mate arrived. The beds were up in no time. Very polite guys took all their wrappings/ cardboard away with them. Excellent job.

AVOID - Miss-selling ‘experts’
AVOID - Visited the store in November 2025 where we were miss-sold and miss-informed by the sales clerk. We wanted a medium mattress, tested plenty and settled on the medium density. The sales clerk insisted that due to the bed frame we were purchasing being sprung slat we should get a firm mattress as it would feel like a medium on the sprung frame, there were no firm mattresses on sprung frames to try in store but he insisted we go with his recommendation and trusting his professional knowledge we went with this option.
Upon delivery in April 26 the mattress was far too firm, we contacted Bensons under their good night guarantee to be told it was our fault and we shouldn’t of trusted the salesman in store… They then said we had to pay a delivery fee and admin fee, and then difference of the mattress as it was now back to full price as opposed to the lower discount price we paid back in November. The total to rectify the miss-selling issue from the salesman would cost us a further £464 to get the mattress we originally wanted and asked for.
We found this disgusting to ask for such a high cost and asked for some understanding on the issue, Bensons have been terrible to deal with and we have now been forced to deal with the Furniture Ombudsman whilst still having to use a mattress that is far too firm and causing historic back pain to flare up. Still 4 months on we are no closer to a resolution….
AVOID GLOUCESTER BENSONS.

We visited our local branch to view the bed options on offer. We were welcomed by Cathy, who asked the questions of what we were looking for in a new bed. She showed us the various options available to try. We were left to ponder, but Cathy was on hand to answer any questions. We were not hounded for a potential sale, which was really great. We decided on the right bed for us. The whole process was really simple. The delivery time of the bed is quicker than we expected which works out better for us
