I purchased a brand new mattress, ottoman base and headset over the bank holiday weekend. The sales staff (Shabaz) and the management team (George) were excellent. Both were very courteous and professional and helped me select the right bed and also offered me a very good deal. I would recommend Bensons for Beds-Slough to other customers!!!

Promised delivery date was never real
Promised delivery date was never real — had to fight for a refund of my time and trust
Ordered a Sealy Bronte mattress and protector (£1,659.98) in person at the Slough store. The salesperson, Keith, told me clearly it would be delivered on 21 August, and I planned around that. What I didn't find out until later is that Bensons' own system generated a second, contradictory order confirmation just 36 minutes after the first — already showing a delivery date of 2 September — and nobody bothered to tell me. I only found out because I had to chase them myself.
On 21 August, the day I'd been promised delivery, no one called. I waited until midday, then rang them, and was told it had actually slipped to 2 September — nearly two weeks late, with zero warning. After a frustrating call I managed to talk them down to 27 August, still six days later than agreed, with no real explanation for how a "confirmed" delivery date could be wrong before the order was even a day old.
If you buy in-store, don't trust the delivery date you're given verbally — check your email for a second, contradicting confirmation, because Bensons apparently won't tell you about it themselves.

Buying a bed can be stressful and not much fun but my husband and I had a great experience at Bensons in Slough. Surbjit was so friendly and helpful throughout. He offered us many options and had very good knowledge of all the products. The process all went through smoothly. We would definitely recommend Surbjit and this store.

Lovely friendly sales man
Lovely friendly man, helped me and my mum find perfect bed. Was very patient and sweet with my daughter as well who was running around. We were hesitant to buy a bed on the day but were so happy with the service we did. Would defo recommended surbjit.

Very professional service
Everything was handled very professionally from start to finish. The very pleasant salesman in the shop didn’t push the sale as so often happens. I was informed the progress of my order all along the way and the week before the mattress was being delivered I was given a 2 hour slot as to when delivery would take place on the date I was given. The two gentlemen who delivered were very polite and took the mattress and placed it on my bed base and they were within the time slot given. I would definitely go to Bensons in the future.
