WARNING!!!!
we bought a sofa from bentincks furniture about 6 months ago . We were VERY unhappy with the delay in delivery and Very bad customer service from there staff border line rude / abusive when we were complaining. When we finally received our delivery we noticed the quality being very poor and demanded a refund they have refused to give us a refund and told us to live with the shoddy item we are now in the process of taking this company to small claims after doing a bit of research on the internet about this company we had noticed they had gone bankrupt a few years ago.
This company will take your money and supply you with poor quality furniture and if you complain they will just ignore you.

I bought a sofa from Bentincks via Groupon in February this year and the leather has started to spilt and crack on the cushions of the sofa. The quality is appalling. We have emailed them and Groupon asking for a response but to date are still waiting. We are strongly considering involving Trading Standards given the poor quality of the product we have received.

Bought two sofas from them via group on. They were two different shades of brown. They brought two replacement sofas within the week. Polite store staff and delivery drivers. Excellent value for money on their products.

almost 500 for a bed, delivered after several weeks wait with several cuts to the leather base, they re ordered new half base, then more weeks later, sent wrong half (non drawer half) waited again for delivery, after few months wood top of base split and was sinking, and drawer broke. no replies to complaints, this eventually took its toll on springs in mattress which broke springs. had to buy new bed elsewhere just over 12 months later. will never recommend or go to this shop ever again.

After contacting the company and Groupon a number of times, I am happy to say that Mr Sham and Bentinck sorted out this problem today. Thank you to all involved.

Ordered a desk , drawers and table to refurnish study. Quality products which were speedily delivered without any damage or defects. Highly recommended.

I bought a click clack sofa bed for my son as a Christmas present, in March the leg snapped off and I contacted the company to say what had happened and that my husband had a look at it to try and mend it but on taking back the material the wood was like boltser wood, crumbly, fine and full of staples. I contacted the company on several occasions via email and telephone, was totally ignored until finally one late evening I got through to them. The company asked me to send photo evidence, which I did, the Manager then said to me that "WE HAD DAMAGED THE SOFA ON PURPOSE AND WAS MAKING A FALSE CLAIM". They have not replaced it and it is not FIT FOR PURPOSE. I would not deal with this company as their customer / after sales service is dire. I have uploaded a review re my purchase from Bentinck Furniture previously but it keeps disappearing due to the company complaining!

I bought a mirrored shoe cabinet from groupon from bentinck- while we redecorated our house. Put it together today- it is so heavy that opening the door makes it fall on top of you!

Called to advise of the problem- they refused a refund, and told me it's not their problem- just wall mount it. The ad never mentioned 'must e wall mounted' not even 'can be wall mounted'. So dangerous.

Do not buy from them. They have washed their hands of my problem.

We ordered a Click Clack Sofa Bed from Bentincks via Groupon on the 13th February 2013. On the 29th July 2013 a leg fell off. It's was clearly a design fault, the legs are screwed on with three 1 1/2cm screws into chipboard. If we'd known (as it wasn't stated in the description) that the base was chipboard, we'd of never bought it.

After contacting customer service we were told that as we'd attempted to fit the leg back on by hand, all warranty was void, we were also told that the item had no guarantee. We got many emails calling us liars, saying we'd caused the issue and that, that was that.

There is no where on their site that states anything about damaged goods. They ignore the the subject completely. They also encourage you to self repair items on their Terms and Conditions page.

After stating multiple times they were breaking the Sale of Goods Act, that all items have guarantees, they blocked all communication. Buyers, do not attempt to purchase anything from Bentincks. When it breaks, you've lost your money for good.

To top it off, Bentincks Customer Service are fast and ridged with their online censorship. When we contacted them via Facebook to make it public, and I will stress, I was very respectful with my choice of words, they deleted and blocked instead of addressing the issue. I took this to twitter, with a tiny url link to this very page with my review. Customer Service are constantly reporting it as a false review.
