The first thing I always do before I do anything online is go to Trustpilot. It behooves me why this time I did not. As I can see this place is pretty much what they say a nightmare. My first and last order, and I haven't even gotten the shoes yet. Totally frustrated with the customer service coming from Romania. Their clueless after my numerous telephone calls for basic info. After the fourth call and a useless chat I saved myself the misery of hair pulling. I need to make to make note to self 😩 Trustpilot first and foremost before buying.

These are the worst shoes I have ever had! They ARE beautiful, dont get me wrong, but I bought 2 pairs both on the size I get every single shoe I've owned for many many years; I paid a ungodly amount for them and I justified it because they are beautiful, and they fit my foot like a dream in the store. I even walked around in the super high heeled ones for about 10 mins trying to decide if they were worth buying $100+ for one pair! After 10mins my feet didnt hurt and they still fit so I bought both high heels and the chunky straps.
Fast forward to the next day as im wearing the high heels to work-they kept falling off my feet, acting like they were a whole size too big, and flip flopping in the back! I couldn't keep the shoes on my feet. I felt like a toddler wearing her moms shoes. When I went to return them (on lunch) for a smaller size, DSW said no return because turning them over there was so much damage on the bottom of the shoe, it looked like I'd worn them for months instead of for 4 hours while sitting down. Now keep in mind I work at an office so im off my feet most the day or on carpeted floor and my car is parked across the street so very little contact time happens with the smooth payment. So im stuck with the high heels. Fast forward 2 months to now im wearing the chunky heel with the back strap. I wore them once a day ago to work and the same thing happened.....I was walking to lunch and the strap fell off as if im wearing too big of size. My shoe size is 8.5 and these shoes are 8.5. Towards the end of the day im walking to my car and I have to stop 4 times in the office to adjust the strap to stop the shoe from falling off.
These $100 shoes are a piece of crap! The shoes that fit me one moment in the store no longer fit and are literally falling off my feet, theres no way I can get a refund so I've wasted $200 on these shoes that I'm unable to wear. I am so livid!!!
To me this is the worst designer of shoe I have ever come across. They should be ashamed of themselves selling this crap for so much. Im so disappointed I feel like running to the Better Buisness Bureau or Consumer Protection and complaining about this company! How many other women have been scammed with these shoes?

BEWARE: DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

THE WORST online experience of my 34 years of life. I ordered a purse & it was delivered to an address that I do not know & signed for by a person that I do not know. I called customer service twice in a week & they have no information to give me. This company should be shut down.

I love the fact that my glasses are… Beautiful... But already falling apart.

I love the fact that my glasses are super cut, however I think the "gold chain" at the top of my glasses should have been sealed into the glasses a lot better... The very first day I had them the chain started coming out, I had to find a clear glue to place it back in on the right side, now the left side & center pieces are coming out... Looks like I will have to glue the WHOLE chain back in, very unfortunate for such an expensive pair of glasses.

I think i have been purchasing this brand for two or three years. I wish I could add photos! I have the combat boots,pink& pearls -they were too big. I had an easy exchange with no service fees. Love the boots . I have the skull and cross bone set of tennies, solid colored sparkle tennies, and my newest tennies are the pink & green argyle ones with golf balls on the toes. I love them all! In addition to the boots and tennies, I have three pairs of block heels. In making this post ,I realize now that I may have too many shoes? I buy my Betsey Johnsons from the company website , the belk app,and the dillards app as well as at the belk and the dillards stores. I would suggest maybe trying on the type/style of shoe that you fancy in a store so you know what to expect when you place an order online. That is what I did with the heels, so I could see how they wore before ordering the colors that I wanted. Happy shoe shopping!!

Sidny Christmas Lights Shoes Very Smelly

I purchased the Sidny Christmas Lights shoes from the Betsey Johnson website; I absolutely love them, but they have a very strong odor to them. Not sure if a rubber or chemical odor, but whatever it is, it is very strong. These aren’t cheap shoes; I paid full price for them. I am going to take them out of the box to see if the smell will get better; if not, I will be returning them, which will be a bummer as they are super cute.

Dissatisfied.

As much as I loved Betsey Johnson in the early days, I can no longer say that. I purchased a pair of earrings from this company via Amazon. I am returning them for a full refund as they are broken and unwearable. They were not packaged in anything other than a paper envelope. Not sure it was a BJ packing issue, or an Amazon one, but with all my orders through Amazon over many years, I've not had this happen. So, no more Betsey for me.

My New Shoes Are Smelly

I just received my Sidny Christmas Lights shoes that I ordered directly from the Betsey Johnson website. I paid full price for them and was very disappointed to open them and discover that they have a strong (rubbery) odor to them. I have taken them out of the box to see if the smell gets better. It does not seem that shoes costing over $100 should have an offensive and strong odor. Not sure if I will be keeping them or not.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I placed an order for shoes for my wedding. When I went to place the order I got an error on their website saying "the order can not be processed". Then I received TWO emails, with two different order numbers, for the same shoes. I immediately called to cancel. They said no problem. Then they shipped. I called to tell them the duplicate order shipped, they said no problem, just return it. I mentioned the restocking fee, they said no problem, it would be waived. I sent the order back, and they told me that even if there was an error on their end, they would not refund me. THEIR ERROR! I am now proceeding to dispute with my credit card. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET SCAMMED!!!

Customer service was useless.

Ordered shoes in March for my wedding in June, super excited because they really are beautiful shoes. Waited for my order and wasn't notified that they were going to take longer than expected. After checking in 5 separate times over the course of 3 months I cancelled my order and requested a refund. Customer service was useless.

Ordered a pair of shoes for my wedding. The shoes ended up on back order. I ordered back in April. After them pushing me off twice and now taking off the shoe from their website I requested a refund and to cancel my order. Super disappointed.

This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever encountered. I never received my order because it never left their CT warehouse and now they refuse to issue a refund . Please do not order from them EVER!! Lots of other places to spend your hard earned money

Deceptive Practice

I ordered a pair of boots and tried to return them. They advised me that it was final sale however I never saw anything stating such or I wouldn’t have ordered them. I went back on the website and in tiny little letters on the item’s page it said final sale. Nowhere during checkout did it state this. Can you say deceptive practice?

Ordered one pair of shoes but accidentally ordered 2. I called and they couldn't change the order as it has already shipped. All good I can just send one pair back. The said delivered for almost a week and I never got them, finally after 3 weeks of waiting I got them. Love the shoes they are amazing. But now I have to pay to return them witch I wont do, so likely end up selling them on facebook for way less money. That was all fine and I could get over that.
I got my shoes in January now it is march. I get a letting in the mail with three bills on it. One for $81.46 another $150.13 another for $218.00. Called them and they didn't do anything, now I have spent $1000 on two pairs of shoes. Not impressed at all.. I will never order from here again. Don't even waste your money.

I placed an order for an employ gift…

I placed an order for an employ gift and it was cancelled the next day due to a failed payment (I probably transposed numbers when entering my card). I had used a discount code and paid for next day shipping, but the discount code expired and the order would have been $30 more (above budget) when re-placing it. Their customer service team jumped in and fixed the issue for me, resulting in getting the same original discounted price with the same shipping.

Run …

I purchased the butterfly phone bag and matching shoes on 12/2/2024. My purse shipped first and when it arrived 12/8/2024 it was someone else's item, not what I ordered. When i called customer service they said they could not exchange because my correct item was sold out now. They wanted me to go to post office and return the item. I advised them they need to send for pickup as I am not driving in 40 degree weather and standing in a 1 hr holiday post office line. I asked them to please cancel the shoes as those had not shipped and refund them as well. They said they needed to reach out and notify the warehouse and notify to cancel. The supervisor told us that fedex would pick up purse on Thursday 12/12. So i sat at home waiting. Needless to say they never came because they never put in the pickup order. Then 4 days later they emailed me they shipped the shoes anyway that I explicitly said I no longer wanted cause I didn't have the purse to match and they were to cancel. But Because they never cancelled the order it went out anyway. Then they made me wait for shoes to arrive still delaying my refund. I had to call and threaten to dispute the charges if I did not get a pickup i would consider tjis abndoned property. Next day fedex was at my door. But they only had 1 shipping label for 1 item even though I was returning now 2 items due to the incompetence of cust service. Fedex put in a larger box so both items could ship. And I had to call cust service to notify they only sent one label for return but both items were sent back. Then unbenounced to me they sent the return back for fedex on the slowest delivery fedex could deliver ground shipping. A means to delay my refund. When you call customer service you get the same rotating people. Like they are working in the livingroom huddled together on rotating shifts. And no one knows what the other indicated. I purchased my items on Dec 2 it is now Dec 21 and I still have not received a refund. Do not purchase from them. They're customer service is absolutely the worst. They are not there to assist you. This has been a horrific experience. And after all this they send me a text 2 days ago that my bag that I had actually originally purchased is now back in stock. F*** that bag, I don't even want it now after this ordeal. Take heed you've been warned. Customer service is everything and they have None. Meanwhile its 12/22 and........I'm still waiting on a refund. Their customer service is unapologetically atrocious with absolute no regard or value to the consumer. It's not worth the headache or the product. Run!

I placed my order on December 2nd

I placed my order on December 2nd, the next day I looked on the website and the wallet I ordered was no longer there. I requested twice, information on my order and got an automated message that there were just delays on shipping due to the holidays. On the 14th, after getting no updates beyond my confirmation email I call support. When I can finally get a hold of a person they tell me they don't have the wallet in stock anywhere and just didn't contact me about it or cancel the order they couldn't fulfill. If I didn't contact them it seems they had plans to just keep my money.

Deceptive practices

Tried to return a pair of boots, but was denied as they claimed it was a final sale. Nowhere in the buying process was this disclosed. Despite multiple attempts to resolve with CS, I had to file a dispute with my credit card company, which I ultimately won (I had screenshots of each step in the buying process proving that it was never labeled "Final Sale"). To make matters worse, they don't honor requests to unsubscribe from their email lists. Will NEVER buy from this company again.

Poor customer service, shipping & quality

I purchased 2 dresses specifically for an event and paid extra for expedited shipping. The dresses arrived after the event so I called to make sure I could get my shipping back and return the dresses. Customer service said no problem we'll email you a return slip. I never saw it, so I called a second time. They said they will gladly return my items and shipping and email me my return slip. Again, I never got it. I used their chat feature today and the customer service person said I could not return both dresses, just one. I explained the situation and they told me no. Instead I had to dispute the charges with my credit card to get my wasted money back. Very frustrating. At this point, I'd never order again based on the quality of fabrics. Very overpriced for what you get.
