We used Bishopsgate to deal with our property sale, which turned out to be a complicated and extremely lengthy process with special deeds being required. We dealt primarily with Jyeshtha Bundhoo and Svetlana Humphris, and they were professional, efficient and courteous throughout. Considering Bishopsgate were significantly cheaper than many other firms, their service was exceptional. Would recommend.

We were young first time buyers looking for a supportive firm to help us.

Bishopsgate Law appeared to be one of the fairly priced property solicitors and were keen to help us out.

We had Yesim Dilan and Donna working with us, aswell as Ellen at the start helping us through the initial process. Ellen was very efficient with her replies and broke everything down to us.
Donna was the main communicator and again was efficient in replies and asked all necessary questions. Yesim appeared to speak to us at the end of the process confirming details and sending further documents. We made it clear that we were unfamiliar with the moving process and wanted everything explained to us at each step. We had to chase for updates every week, and had to ask for further explanation of the sent documents because they made no sense to us.

They worked quicker than I have heard other solicitors do, so we massively appreciated that, but we did face some issues at the end of the process. There was some miscommunication between the solicitors and management company we believe, and inaccurate information was given to us. This was in relation to a sudden request of a large amount of money, so we were already hesitant and trusting in Dilan and Donna to ensure this was the right thing. We weren’t getting clear answers via email so I had to call Dilan. I was not happy with the jargon provided to me, and the lack of empathy regarding my concerns. The fact the information being told me to me was incorrect made me less trusting in them to help me. Donna was able to better explain the situation and when I raised the mistake to her she made it her main priority to get it sorted. This should not have happened last minute (in the exchange stage) let alone at all. As naive first time buyers we expected to be supported and guided through the process, an we felt Bishopsgate Law could have done better.

If I could rate more than 5 star I would! Emmanuel could not be a more friendly welcome to the firm and Catherine, Amrita and Anthony have been exceptional from start to finish. Things have run smoothly and quickly despite a tight timeframe to complete. The price is competitive but the quality far exceeds that of much pricier firms in my area.

Ive just completed a house sale with Bishopgates Law. Took a few months, the buyers solicitor was slow, but i felt Mathew Bedson from Bishopsgate was attentitive throughout the process and really helped keep things moving. I'm very appreciative and would absolutely recommend, i'll use them again. Thank you.

Amna is helpful to get the deal done. Property completed on 31/3/26 but not yet receive the fund the day after 10:30am 1/4/26. The notice of completion said fund should be sent the same day or tomorrow. I followed up by calling office but still no one can tell me exactly when I should have it.
[Updated: got contacted by the company and explained the situation. I finally received the funds before 12pm. Thanks for prompt follow up. ]

Sophie and Sonia at Bishopsgate Law made what can be a stressful process feel completely manageable. They were responsive, thorough and kept things moving even when complications arose. Couldn’t have asked for better representation, would highly recommend. My only feedback would be to have a better portal system where you can track progress vs doing everything other email but that is more of an operations suggestion for Bishopsgate.
