I was so lucky to have chosen Blowing Point care to look after my dad , from the very first interaction with Comfort throughout the whole care process I have been overwhelmed with the level of professionalism and kindness everyone in the company has shown to me and more importantly shown towards my dad with dementia , Comfort and Abi both went above and beyond what is required of them to help with dad and I was left in no doubt that he was well looked after . My dad regularly praised the high level of care he was shown by all the staff and without a doubt his favourite Ola was an absolute legend in looking after dad

I have been a client of Blowing Point Care for the past 18 months. I am very happy with the service I receive from them. The staff are very attentive, caring, hard working, friendly and kind. Dad had care in his home from Blowing Point for nearly 5 years; as his condition deteriorated we made more use of their services both through the formal care route and privately. We were never dissatisfied and the care was of a uniformly high standard. Dad had a strong bond with his usual carer M and also with A and G when they stood in. Outstanding care provided by Blowing Point to my late mother who was at end of life, care and dignity was shown at all times with kindness and compassion and any support needed by the family was kindly provided.

We have used Blowing Point Care for my beloved husband, who was diagnosed with a very, very rare condition, the Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease, CJD affects 1 or 2 people in every million. This disease gradually destroys brain cells and quickly progresses and is unfortunately fatal. Although I was reluctant to go back to work and leave my husband in the hands of strangers, I quickly realised that I needed help as the illness progressed. I first got in touch with Comfort, who was an absolutely wonderful person to talk to and she understood my concerns and was amazing at reassuring me. The team that provided care for my husband was simply wonderful. They were not only skilled and knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate and patient. They helped us with a wide range of tasks, including personal care, medication management, meals, and providing companionship, making sure my husband was doing all the activities I left to support his cognitive and fine motor skills.
The Team that provided care for my husband became a little family to us, we chatted, laughed and cried together. They bonded with my husband and myself, they not only cared for him but also showed so much love to him. I will always be grateful to the services they provided us. To name a few of their wonderful staff (Teju, Blessing, Rebecca, Ola, Tina and Grace and a few others) have supported us with great understanding. They were very responsive to any concerns I had and always made adjustments to meet the needs of my husband. The team showed excellent experiences and supported me and my family over the months.

Comfort was always available to listen to me and always provided me with reassurance as well as lots of advices. She made me feel comfortable and at ease but also provided lots of comfort. I highly recommend Blowing Point Care as they have been wonderful to us and I would like to thank them for the support they have given to us at a difficult time. My District Nurse was so impressed with them that she took their name for recommendations. Thank you, your help will never be forgotten…

Comfort is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and is clearly highly respected as a former nurse in the industry. She is also an outstanding problem solver, being solely responsible for my mum not being returned to hospital and being able to stay in her own home for her last months. Comfort and her team provided not only the most excellent and attentive care but are all such a joy and delight to work with. Our family feels incredibly lucky for this last 5 months of my mum's life. Most importantly, she loved them all. They are all wonderful and special human beings.

Blowing point provided a care package at home for my grandmother, prior to her moving into a care home. Accepting care was difficult for my grandmother but was made easier by the caring professional staff at blowing point. From the initial assessment to the carers providing the care, that put my grandmother at ease, and us as a family too. Comfort is amazing, she was at the end of the phone whenever we needed her, and the carers are so caring and also brought joy to my grandmother when they visited.
I can’t recommend Blowing Point enough.

We have used Blowing Point care for a number of years now and they have been amazing. Our mum has recieved the best care. They are professional, prompt and extremely caring. They always go the extra mile. During the pandemic it was very hard not only for my sister and I unable to visit our mum regularly, but for our mum too. Without the care and understanding of these amazing carers I dont think she would have got through it. Our mum has now gone into a beautiful residential care home at the age of 90. She was really sad and so were we to say our final goodbye to all the caring staff who we have grown to love as friends. Thankyou all so much for all you have done for mum. We really appreciate it and so does she. X

I am so thankful to you for supporting my aunt in her time of need. She loved you all as you showed care compassion and professionalism. You maintained her care and were quick to increase when she became more frail. I can’t thank you enough for being there. You were like our second family

I just want to say how happy I am with the carers that come to care for my husband. It took a while to get used to and Pete has not been the easiest to get on with but Comfort's no nonsense approach soon sorted that out at the beginning. He now has Stephanie and Michelle and they are brilliant ! They come at the right time, really reliable and friendly. Also Georgia who has just started coming sometimes in between. It has definitely has made my life a lot easier. Even at very difficult times with the pandemic they never let us down. Thank you 😊

Mum only had carers for a few months and was very resistant to the idea. However, S, C and A were amazing - not at all put off if she seemed unwelcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure that she was well looked after, let me know when they thought she needed a doctor/nurse and then rang to let me know the outcome of the visit. S came at short notice when she came out of hospital unexpectedly and slipped in an extra visit on one occasion when we were waiting for a doctor - just to make sure everything was OK. Would thoroughly recommend.

Good experience from care giver.

This was my first experience of receiving care by care givers in the Community and I had some reservations, but having Stephanie as my care giver, dispelled my fears.
Stephanie is a kind, trustworthy, compassionate and very respectful person, who quickly understood my needs and was supportive in ensuring that my experience was a good one.

Often she would make suggestions on how best I could improve the way I use the bath chair and the other appliances safely to enhance my mobility.

Many times after having a shower, whilst assisting me to get dressed, we would have lovely conversations and we got to know each other better and I looked forward for her daily visit.

Prior to getting ill, I had always been independent and sometimes it can be frustrating for me. Stephanie has shown me that sometimes we have to re-evaluate our lives and accept help when it's needed.
In my opinion, Stephanie has the right attitude and temperament as a care giver and is a great asset to your organisation.

BlowingPoint Care Agency is exceptional. They are very flexible and easy to work with and adapt very easily to the needs of the client. The care and support they provide is excellent. Their prices are very competitive. They looked after my Uncle with care and compassion. I would highly recommend this agency.

We recently had help for my 87 year-old mother from Blowingpoint. This was arranged privately. Comfort carried out the initial assessment. At the time my mother was in an unusual state of mind following a recent hospital stay and quite difficult to deal with. Comfort took a firm, no-nonsense approach with my mother and was very supportive of me. This was a very important part of the experience as it affirmed what I was doing and reassured me greatly at a very challenging time.

The care itself was provided by Sarah who could also be firm when needed - not aggressively, but efficiently which is required when time is limited. My mother described Sarah as having a very gentle touch. We were provided with a time window in which Sarah would arrive and she always did so. She was never substituted by any other carer but occasionally brought along Timi, who was training, and also very pleasant.

The only negative was the timeslots, we would have preferred earlier visits - these were not available so we had to agree later ones but that is of course better than being promised something at the outset and then being messed around later, Comfort and Sarah were both up-front as to what was possible.

We have now stopped using Blowingpoint as the council have recently arranged some reablement care for my mother which they have sourced from another provider, however, I would have no hesitation in returning to Blowingpoint.

I worked for blowing points for approximately 6 months and honestly it is the best care company I have worked with for all my 10 years of working in care! The team are extremely helpful and always supportive. If I wasn’t moving out of London I would still be working .anyone looking for a great work environment blowing point is the place to work !

We had blowing point Care when my mum left st Michael's rehab in Enfield after serious operation in barnet in July 2020. We found Comfort to be very kind and the carers we had sarah,laila,shanel and elina to be the same. Give them a try.
