Super service at Boots Gates, Bolton
I recently had a hearing test at Boots Bolton Gates branch store.
I was seen at the appointed time by Eve, a very pleasant young lady, who fully explained how the test worked, and some facts as to how our ears function.
At the end of the test I was fully informed as to what options were available to me regarding the purchase of hearing aids, and of the importance of having a regular hearing test.
I am very pleased with the service received at the named branch.

EXCELLENT care from Eve at Boots, The Gates, Bolton, Hearing Care today. Both my hearing and my well-being were restored. Previous incomplete treatment at a local private clinic had left me in some distress. Huge thanks to Eve for solving the problem with understanding and skill and for reassuring me about ongoing care available with Boots.

I have tinnitus due to a hearing test at Boots
I have had severe tinnitus due to a hearing test at Biggleswade.The headband which was placed on my head and behind my ears was so loud! This was done twice!
I mentioned it to another audiologist when I had to go back two days later to hand in some paperwork, the audiologist just laughed it off by saying “it’s like having gymnastics on your head”.
This is not acceptable from boots! I have since sent an email, wrote a letter and phoned headquarters, all to no avail.
They refuse to take responsibility even though I never had tinnitus until the morning after my hearing test.
