The pasage up to the hearing room was rather drab but the consultation was very good and everything was eaxplaned in a friendly manner. The hearing aids fitted well and improved my hearing no end
After seeing independent audiologists it was a breath of fresh air to talk to Amelia who explained the tests and the process before even mentioning anything else

Required information never arrived, appointment cancelled
Can’t comment on the audiologist as never went for appointment scheduled for 3rd February. I received several texts reminding me of my appointment which was a good thing. However, on the 2nd of February I received a letter stating that by now I would have received an email with a questionnaire about my hearing. I DID NOT. It also advised that I took someone with me who spends time with me every day. How was I supposed to arrange that at such short notice ? Needless to say I cancelled my appointment for the 3rd and will not be contacting Boots about this anymore. At least I saved £3-4k. I will go back to the NHS. I’m not a happy bunny and on the strength of this may not use boots anymore for my eye tests.
