Boots hearing care was recommended by a friend. Was nor disappointed. Very professional service from Elaine Lambert. Took time with my husband and was patient and caring. Hearing aid supplied within 2 weeks. Follow up appointment made some adjustments and phone App loaded. Great service.

At a time where it seems so easy for one to complain I would like to give a note of praise for Elaine Lambert based at Boots Hearingcare, Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh.
I had arranged an early morning appointment in January 2024 and on initially seeing me she decided she’d like to spend more time with me on my annual examination. Elaine rearranged her morning schedule to fit me in and after a brief wait which I used to wander around the store she called me in to her clinic.
Elaine could not have been more thorough in her examination, she was courteous and helpful answering all my questions and much more.
A big well done to Elaine Lambert, a credit to Boots Hearingcare.

Very friendly, and professional, explained everything to me, reassured me, and made me feel very at ease.

My elderly disabled mother bought their hearing aids costing almost 3 grand but they didn't function properly and she was told she had to return to get them calibrated.

The appointment was months away and as she was unwell when she attended she was sent away (she's recieving chemo). Then we were told just book in another appointment which again was months away and Boots cancelled it a week before and rescheduled it for a month later. The new appointment was at a time that my mum could not attend as it clashed with her hospital appointments. When she tried to change it guess what! they added another month onto her wait.

My mother died before she could get her expensive new hairing aids to work properly. If this is the type of service you are looking for then I highly recommend Boots.

They have zero interest in customer service. I spent almost £2000 with them on hearing aids a few years ago, and ever since, the important annual reviews have been consistently cancelled and rearranged.
OK, so these things happen, right? Well, they don't bother to contact you to inform you. EVER! On every occasion, and there are many, I have arrived for the appointment only to be told then! The reception, usually a Boots Opticians, are disinterested, passing the buck that it's a separate department.
There is NO customer service. There is no follow up email or call, or even a text. It's up to you to make contact to arrange a new time and date. When you call them they fob you off with excuses, with no interest in the inconvenience to you, or the cost to the customer in having to take time off work again for a rearranged appointment.
I will eventually replace these hearing aids and Boots will not get the repeat business.
A couple of years ago I also left Boots Opticians as a customer for similar poor service.
Boots used to be such a good, reliable company, but now they just don't seem to care.
Spend your money elsewhere.

Very attentive, professional service by Elaine, took into account every aspect of lifestyle, hearing aid use and conducted intensive testing to ensure I received the best advice, including a follow up referral for middle ear issues. Getting my new aids on Wednesday and so looking forward to hearing better and not being isolated and socially distanced.

Lovely audiologist who was warm and welcoming. Answered my questions very knowledgeable and put me at ease.

The staff who dealt with me were efficient, helpful and pleasant.
