Helpful explanation as to how hearing aids would benefit me.

My Phonak hearing aids were fin at first but after about 9 months the app stopped working and I could no longer adjust my aids using the app. The app is an integral part of the hearing aids and the ability to adjust them is an absolute must.
I visited Boots on several occasions and each time the audiologist thought they were fixed but still the adjustment using the app would not work.
I finally requested either a completely new set of aids or a complete refund. Boots proposed to replace the aids however when I went to exchange them, the replacement aids would not work with the app.
The audiologist confirmed it was an app problem and not an aid problem and he could do nothing about the app.
I am still using the original aids without the ability to adjust them and have requested a total refund. I am still waiting to hear back from Boots.
This is a brief description of events and not a full explanation. I have not touched on the frustration, the anger, the shock when it was suggested it was my fault and nothing to do with the hearing aids.
The audiologists have done all they can but I'm afraid their knowledge seems somewhat limited when it comes to problems. Phonak have not been very helpful and I cannot get in touch with them as there is no contact details available from Boots.
I can not recommend e3ither Boots or Phonak based on my recent experience over a period of about two and a half months.

Boots had a flexible choice of early appointments to allow me to go from initial test, full testing to supply and fitting very quickly.
I received detailed and very useful advice on products and prices.
Ive only had the hearing aid two days, but so far so good.
The 90 day return policy gives great peace of mind.
I would highly recommend Boots.

Very thorough hearing examination. Examiner explained everything and conducted the test. The test proved what I already knew and was advised about obtaining hearing aids and the possible costs involved.
