I have provided positive feedback before after my excellent service with the Optician Service at this Branch. However I have been having hearing appointments with Lucy since 2022 and was very nervous to go the final stage of having hearing aids even though my yearly results identified my hearing loss was getting worse. At no time was I pressured to purchase anything. Quality information was provided. Every question answered and Lucy in my view was extremely knowledgeable and very supportive of my fear.
Only a couple of weeks ago I finally said “let’s move to the next stage and order what was best for my situation”.
I had done some research and Lucy again supported my decision and any questions I still had. She handled the order, fitting and setting up with great ease but took time to make sure I was comfortable.
I now have a fantastic pair of AI Phonak Sphere’s with additional TV connector and Boots hearing App. My brain is starting to experience sounds I didn’t realise were around me.
Very happy with the professional service, quality products and a future ability to enjoy socialising.

From my routine hearing test with Lucy Smith a year ago to last Friday afternoon when I walked out of the store wearing my first hearing aids, I have been impressed with Lucy’s professional but friendly manner. She is highly competent but explains things slowly and clearly without a hint of condescension or ‘here we go again’. The product is expensive so it is important to have experts to assess the nature of the hearing loss and to advise on the most suitable products. I am pleased with my hearing aids so far and am confident that the follow-up will be equally supportive and informative.

I must say a huge "thank you" to Duncan at Boots Newbury Store. I returned today - feeling very embarrassed, as I'd managed to unpair my hearing aids from my Bluetooth 'phone for the second time. He quickly resolved my problem with patience and courtesy and made a note to enable me to sort out the problem, should I need it again! Great customer service.

I was really impressed with the excellent service I received from Boots’ audiologist Lucy Smith today. She conducted a thorough assessment of my hearing, and took me through all of the options (their pros and cons) for the hearing aids Boots offer. She is a clear communicator, very knowledgeable and extremely patient, answering all my questions. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
