The hearing lady couldn’t have been nicer, so friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. She put me at ease, to the fact I needed hearing aids. She went through everything with me thoroughly.

The audiology appointment was conducted very professionally by the Boots audiologist who conducted the hearing test to determine the level of deafness,after which having determined that hearing loss was significant proceeded to offer the best hearing aids for this level of deafness,the hearing aids on offer were discussed together with their advantages and disadvantages before a decision was made,
Altogether this was a very comprehensive and pleasant experience.

Boots have a wide range of the latest high quality hearing aids. Fitting for in ear types was straightforward. Very pleased with sound quality and bluetooth capability so I can take calls and listen to music.

Very good explanation and practical help

After procrastinating for months I took the plunge and made an appointment to have my hearing tested at the Northampton branch of Boots.
The audiologist Michael Daws explained in great detail what a full hearing test involved. I was amazed at the technology used to assess my hearing. At each stage of the assessment he explained what was involved and how the information would be used. At the end of the process he told me that I had severe hearing loss in both ears.
Michael went on to explain what type of hearing aids I should consider buying. I chose the Phonak Lumity Platinum model. They come with a 4 year warranty, battery charger and you can even have a choice of colours! There is also full support from the audiology staff throughout the warranty period. I have now had my hearing aids for 3 months and they have made such a difference I wish I had made the decision much earlier to have my hearing tested.
Finally, my wife and I would like to thank Michael for his professionalism from start to finish. He is a credit to Boots.

I was quite nervous about my hearing test at Boots Northampton (Grosvenor Centre), but I really needn't have been. The audiologist, Michael Daws, made me feel instantly at ease.
He explained what would be happening and even took a history of my hearing problems, something which has never been done before, even at the hospital.
The test takes place in a sound booth, which means that it is easier to concentrate on the bleeps in the ear phones. The results were explained very clearly and I chose to make an appointment for a more in depth test.
Michael has a lovely, relaxed, easy manner with his customers, is gentle and kind when applying the earphones, shows great respect and doesn't talk down to you. It was so nice not to be spoken to like an older person. All in all, a very good experience with a really kind and considerate person.

Excellent service until the purchasing of the hearing aids which is no fault of the employee who is obviously trained to push Boots products not given the option of do you wish to purchase these or refer back to doctor
