Great first time hearing test
I had concerns about my hearing in large group environments as well as when there is lots of background noise so went along for a test in the Portishead branch. I was seen on time by Millie who was very understanding and explained everything to me really well. The test and ear checks were conducted professionally and with care. I was fortunate to find I don't really have a hearing problem but possibly a processing issue. I felt like I was heard an understood by Millie and appreciated that she didn't try to sell me anything. She did say that hearing aids could benefit me on those occasions where I need to focus in meetings or at social events and I have left with information to be able to make my mind up at my pace.

Definitely reccomend
The Hearingcare audiologist was very good at explaining the process and helping me to choose an appropriate hearing aid. She answered any questions I had and put me at ease during the assessment. I chose Boots because of its' reputation and this particular branch of Boots because it was local and I could take the hearing aid back if I had any problems.
