I attempted to order two tops for my…

I attempted to order two tops for my husband and had a 10% coupon code that they sent me for giving them an email. The tops were the correct price in the cart but prior to placing my order the discount disappeared. I tried this twice using paypal but did not place an order. Now Paypal shows two pending charges from Boscovs. I contacted Paypal and they said they would drop off after 60 days since no order was placed. I called Boscovs and they confirmed I had not placed any orders. Why does Boscov put the amount through prior to the order being placed. They also do not honor the advertised discount. I will never order from Boscovs again. Buyer beware.

I trusted this site because some…

I trusted this site because some positive feedbacks from my friends. However, if there is something happened and you not received, they will promised to start a trace of the package and refund the money, they are lying. They will never response or keep you updating after you told them you didn’t receive the package. They will never refund until you file a claim with your payment company. Unfortunately, I filed it with Paypal and they only provided tracking number saying it was delivered and refused to refund. When the case closed without me receiving refund, I called Boscov and they said, since I filed a claim, they cannot give me back my money anymore. I should have believed bad reviews saying this company is such a scam

NEVER AGAIN BOSCOV’S ONLINE

I never had a problem visiting a Boscov’s store, but decided to order online….AND NEVER AGAIN. About an hour or so after placing the order for my mother’s watch, they emailed me stating that they canceled my order bc they don’t have it in stock now. I’m like ok, just give me the refund. It’s only been 4 days, but why keep holding my money when you can just release the funds? My bank says they have to wait for them to release the hold. I’m not happy at all with this.
At the same time, I had to return sneakers to DSW that my mom couldn’t fit (purchased same day as watch from Boscov’s….but I received my refund back to my acct from DSW. I know every merchant is different, but Boscov’s is freakin ridiculous!!!! Screw Boscov’s.

I have filed complaints with Pa Attorneys office and Federal consumer protection the bank that issues
their credit card Comenity Bank is a predatory lender
i closed my acc they sent me a letter that my balance was zero.Then a month latter they sent me a late fee
now they are charging a late fee on a late fee every month

Paid $9.95 for 4-5 day shipping in…

Paid $9.95 for 4-5 day shipping in checkout online. Package sat for a week with usps label generated for it until they gave it to them. Customer service said 7-10 days was normal even though checkout said 4-5 on website. Gave me no reason as to why it sat for a week before handing off to usps.

I tried to make a purchase using…

I tried to make a purchase using PAYPAL’s 4 installments. My payment was approved and taken out (twice) but Boscov’s would not let me finalize my purchase online. So I’m out $51 with nothing to show for it until I wait until PayPal gives me my money back.

STAY AWAY FROM Boscov's - terrible company

Boscov's is really something, let me put it to you that way no one should ever buy from this website online or in-store. I called last week to cancel my order (63803742) because I used a 10% or 15% coupon that let me apply at coupon, later to find out that its for BOSCOV CREDIT CARD HOLDERS ONLY. Get that huh? Why bother having the coupon code apply if at the end of the checkout process, you're going to charge me the full amount. To top it all off, you guys decided that you wanted to charge me additional $15 in shipping costs, because your supply chain is terrible. How do you do business this way? The gift cards I used on the order that I cancelled were also not reimbursed... how is this business still running?

Spent time at the Camp Hill store where…

Spent time at the Camp Hill store where they recently remodeled significantly. Walkways are too narrow and follow a maze of turns. On top of that, the various departments move displays into the walkway making it difficult for two people to pass each other. Central cash register location with little room to allow for the long line waiting customers.
We went to the store for a Order Pickup. After nearly an hour, it was reported the package couldn't be found. Now waiting for another call to go back. Was expecting to complete my bedroom project this weekend but now have to wait for another week. Disappointing!

Boscov's website needs work

Boscov's website needs work. The same issue happened to me as another customer. I tried to place an order on line and it was rejected however placed and I wasn't aware until I saw the charge come up on my boscov's account. Also their discounts stink. If an item is discounted you can't use your shopping pass. Another thing I hate when they give you a $5.00 credit and put an expiration date on it. They are true Indian
Givers.
Another issue is the items that are marked 40 or 50% off. I would never pay more than the discounted price because the items are overpriced to begin with. In the past I was a loyal Boscov's customer but not no more. I'm not the only one thinking this way. Your customers are a lot smarter than what you think.

Bought a couch and recliner

Bought a couch and recliner, good prices for both. However, they both have a very strong chemical smell, and I cannot use them, especially the recliner, can't sit in it for any length of time. Called both the manufacture and Boscov's to see if they could do anything for me, clean them or return them and was pretty much told to pound sand since I've had them for 5 months. While I get that it's been a while, you would think the "new" smell would be gong by now. So now I am stuck with furniture that I can't even enjoy. Never again will I buy from Boscov's, never.

I purchased a diamond bracelet on May…

I purchased a diamond bracelet on May 13 2024 for my daughter and I also got the insurance for the bracelet. in August of 2024 the bracelet broke in half. I contacted the jewelry department and took it back and it was sent off to be fixed 8/11/2024.From August until now September 19 it took them to contact me only to tell me that my insurance does not cover the bracelet to be fixed. In order for it to be fixed I will have to pay $99 more. Is this a bad quality bracelet and what does the insurance cover?

I went to Boscovs in Deptford Mall

I went to Boscovs in Deptford Mall. Lisa helped me in the dress department. I needed a dress for a wedding. I found a really nice one, but it was not my size. She checked in the computer and there was one in another store. She called that store but they couldn't find it. She then proceeded to look through the racks until she found that dress in my size. She went above and beyond to help me. The cashier name Cheryl was also very helpful.

Terrible credit card customer credit

My wife received a bill on 07-17-2024 from Comenity Bank for $42.38. On 07-17-2024 she made out a check for that amount and I had other mailings to go out so I took her payment to the postoffice and I know it was mailed out because I went to the counter. We started to receive spam phone calls which we did not answer NOTE: they must have called us numerous times after that and finally I answered the call and asked the caller “why are you calling us?” The response was your bill for $42.38 is overdue; I immediately put him on hold and called my bank and was told this $42.38 check did not clear our bank; apparent lost mail and told the caller the payment is apparently lost in the mail and the caller said, “how I know you did mail out the payment and told him, have any previous payments ever been late before and he said I don’t care about previous payments you are going to be charged $30 for late payments and again I told him our payment was apparently lost and we will send out another payment for $42.38 which he said no, it is $30 more. We made other charges and the new bill is $216.56. This CS agent was hyper critical and called me a liar. I hung up and called Boscovs corporate office and complained and they gave me another phone number to call which I did. This CS agent was fantastic and immediately removed the $30 and the new bill is now $186.56 which will be paid at the next Boscovs store which was done yesterday; 08-20-2024. My question to Boscovs is: why would Boscovs contract Comenity Bank for credit card coverage when they treat paying customers as not paying their bills and a liar. Had enough; we will limit our business with Boscovs and if we do, we will use another credit card. LOST BUSINESS IS THE AMERICAN WAY.

Give Us Back Customer Service Only Personnel


My recent visit to Boscov's, Dover, DE could have been a better experience. The store is becoming increasingly like an off-price retail store. Why must customers go upstairs for items that are on sale? These items should stay in their original sale areas. Then, to add to my unnecessary trip upstairs, signs are posted to check out with customer service. I must wait for the staff to finish ringing up purchases if I have a customer service issue. Customer service should be customer service and nothing more or less. We strongly desire to maintain the traditional department store experience with available customer service personnel whenever needed. If I wanted the off-price store experience, I would visit an off-price store. Give us back our customer service personnel and place all sale items in their respective areas.

I often shop at your Deptford New Jersey location and was shocked to read a negative review about Thelma. She is always helpful and very knowledgeable. She helped me with luggage and patio furniture and always has a warm greeting.

Bed bugs in their furniture

I bought 2 recliners and there were bed bugs under the labels and under the cover on the footrest. What a mess I have allready spent over $100.00 and still haven't gotten rid of them!!!!!!!

Lack of support

I searched for a long time for a sofa every furniture store in Delaware I thought one day to myself I love boscov's store so much I'm going to give them a try we went we purchased a sofa here we are one year later and it is broken actually it is 15 months old cushions are flat the recliner mechanism is broken and customer service denied me any help not fair all I can say is I will never purchase cheap furniture again from boscov's
