Frustrated credit card holder

I have been a boscovs credit card holder for over 20 years never had a problem. However BEWARE!!!!! I ordered ONLINE ! some garden flags and poles that were one price after I received my statement I was charged a significantly higher price than what's was online. I even reported it as fraudulent charge because I didn't recognize the charge being it was so high after I wrote a letter I realized I was charged twice so even more of a mess. I will be very very reluctant to shop there. The phone wait and trying to explain and the stress I think that Boscovs is going down hill

Nasty worker at boscovs

We decided to go dress shopping at the Park city location. the lady in the fitting rooms was very rude to another costumer in front of us. she had a lot of clothes on her and she was an elder. she couldn’t walk correctly and was leaning on her cart. she was also disabled with one hand. the woman working starting being rude to her and almost took away most of her clothes. the woman also gave us a bad look for helping the elderly woman out, and practically pushed us out the way. she told the old lady the only reason she was allowed to bring her cart in is because “she doesn’t feel like fighting” and that she had to “pick and choose her battles” and said it to the elderly ladies face. the elderly lady tried joking around to lighten up the mood and the cashier shut her down with a snarky remark. The workers name is Donna.

I am shocked a good state like…

I am shocked a good state like Pennsylvania would tolerate all the legitimate complaints regarding this company and its credit card scam. Was billed every month for the same pair of sneakers they just told me I owed 61 dollars for sneakers. Then told I owe 128 more dollars I insisted they close my account I doubt these scammers did

WAS AT BOSCOVS ON 10/6/2022. STOPPED IN THE SHOE DEPARTMENT AND THE SALES LADY WAS " LORENA". OMG THAT GIRL WAS THE BEST OF THE BEST. PEOPLE ARE SLOBS THE WAY THEY LEAVE THE SHOES ALL OVER THE PLACE. SHE 😃 SMILED THE ENTIRE TIME AND WAS JUST REALLY COOL TO EVERYONE AND SO NICE TO TALK TO. YOU GO GIRL. JOJO.

We purchased a sofa and loveseat at…

We purchased a sofa and loveseat at Christmas time last year. It was delivered faster than anticipated and we couldn’t have been more happy. However once we looked at it the sofa was crooked and the recliner motor on the one side was making a loud noise. Boscovs said to call furniture doctors and they would come and fix it. Great. He couldn’t fix it and ordered a new motor that we had to wait for. The new motor was installed and it sounds 10 times worse than the first one did. I can’t believe that the repair man actually left with it sounding the way it did. I was at work when he came and my wife showed it to me as soon as I got home. Again, I was stunned that he left with it sounding the way it does.
My wife called them several times and had to leave messages. No call back. My number is the primary number to call but she repeatedly told them to contact her instead because I would be working when they would call back. We never received a call. We finally called Boscovs, which we were told not to because once they sell it it’s not their problem it furniture doctors problem. Boscovs called my number obviously not paying attention to the repeated request to contact my wife. The woman that called was very nice. I told her that we didn’t want the sofa because it’s obviously crap. She put me on hold to talk to Jennifer her supervisor who promptly told her NO, contact furniture doctors. Really! furniture doctors… They said that they have another repair company.
Now we have to deal with regal upholstery, come on Boscovs. This is the type of horrible situation that Youtubers become famous for making videos about.

Buyer beware of online return policy

I placed several online orders with multiple items on most of the orders. I don’t live near a Boscov’s store, so it had to be done online. A few of the items didn’t fit. It was then that I noticed different return addresses on each packing slip. Long story short, there is no main return hub. You must send the item to the address on the packing slip. I didn’t ask them to split up my orders
and had no idea what a tremendous amount of money it would be to return something—more than I paid for the merchandise! Never again! Buyer beware if ordering online.

I am a bit disappointed with the recent drawing for a trip to Ireland that Boscov's advertised but never publicly announced a winner. I called the store in Scranton and the corporate office and no one knows anything about who won….
Otherwise I love shopping g at Boscovs.

I have always shopped at boscovs for…

I have always shopped at boscovs for great deals but today 4/24/22 was the best day. I met a teller(cashier) by the name Paula in the sweets (candy) department she saw me struggling with cart looking for the elevator and offered to keep my cart while l go downstairs for more stuff. I got everything l needed and came back to the second floor. She made the whole experience so pleasant and because of her l would come back again. She is as sweet as the candies she sells.

"Damn the Torpedoes!"

I hate giving 5-star reviews. Nothing is perfect; but when I see 1-star and 2-star reviews, written either for frivolous reasons or using diction by those who are evident competitors who do not have the ability to compete, I may up my review a star. There was no need to do so in this case.

We do not often go to the Eastwood mall in Niles, OH 17 miles away except for Sam's gas; but we are now going to go more often. Reason?? Boscov's. The store is huge, the merchandise is of very good to excellent quality well stocked, and the prices are fair or much better than fair, even better than most other competitors.

However, those are not the only reasons. We went in just to look around, and we found a relatively expensive item for our new home for which we had been looking for months; so we were going to purchase it on the spot. However, the sales rep suggested that we apply for a Boscov's credit card. Well, there was a glitch in the process. My wife had a Boscov's account, which she had forgotten, in San Antonio, TX; and it took almost TWO HOURS to straighten it all out to change the information.

Cassandra was a gem. She stood with us all the way to get us through, probably even missing or delaying her lunch break. Michelle also pitched in, and so did the manager and so did the staff in customer service. Without them, we probably would have walked.

You will be seeing us.

Never ending email spam

Vacuum cleaner arrived on time. Then they started sending marketing emails on a daily basis. I unsubscribed 3 or 4 times to no avail. Then I called on the phone to get removed and they said it could take 6-8 weeks to be removed from the marketing list. That’s funny because I was on the list within 24 hours of my purchase. I would not purchase from Boscovs again if I had the choice to go elsewhere.

There are only three stores In the…

There are only three stores In the united States that I have actually boycotted. Boscovs is one of them. Management and sales personell should quit thier jobs if the place is so horrible! I had witnessed a clerk shut down a register to avoid checking out costumers. In the "eatery" on the first floor, there is standing water around the floor drain permanently! Never change out fryer oil, ever!! Between the lack of service in the department area and health violations I experienced I'd avoid boscovs like the plague you might catch by entering the building.

The academy award for best drama -Essen--

The clerk Esse--- , the one playing victimr crying for being called out on being a b--- after she yelled at a customer when they aaked for something and she was the one being rude. She was saying I don't know how to call or look up things at stores, go to my manager, she was here, you cou could have gone to her. The person was on line and Essence was talking to the manager. Not only that , she yelled at the customer with one other person in line, say, "Look at what you're doing! You're making her wait! See, see, see whst your doing. Then management sticks up for her because the customer called her out on her rude and unprofessional behavior by calling her what she acted like which was a b--- When you act like one, be prepared to be called out on it. Bravo to her for her crying performance. Hey management, why don't you gove the poor thing a raise since you don't listen to what customerss about what your employees do. They don't need accountability. They just need to cry, act like a victim, and play you morons for a bunch of fools and lie about what they said and how they said it. Pathetic.

Boscovs billing

Boscovs billing, Comenity Capital Bank is horrible. Bills come late. Customer service is terrible. One bill came 3 months late. I had to chase after Comenity Capital Bank to pay my bill.
I will never shop Boscovs again.

55 MINUTES UNABLE TO ACCESS SITE..NO ONE ANSWERING PHONES..USED EVERY SEARCH ENGINE..GETTING NO WHERE!..IF I CANNOT ACCESS YOUR SHOP CATEGORIES AND CANNOT SEE WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR..EVEN CHANGED MY PASSWORDS 3 TIMES..GUESS WHO THE LOSER IS?? BOSCOVS! SHOPPED BOSCOVS YEARS AGO NO TROUBLE..NOW FORGET IT! THIS IS CONCERNING AN ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!

I bought a diamond ring 6 months ago…

I bought a diamond ring 6 months ago and 3 months later 1 diamond fell out. I took it back to the store and they sent it out to get fixed. 4wks later I received a call it was back. I quickly rushed over to pick it up and it was not done correctly. The added diamond was sitting raised and it was not a clear diamond. They than decided to give me one out of the showcase and 2m later another diamond fell out. I then asked for another replacement ring just to find out that my defective "fixed ring" was sitting there to be sold !!!! I called corporate who is supposedly going to mail me yet another ring. Well it's been 2wks and still no ring !!

Wrong size but I pay the price

I purchased 4 queen-sized London Fog Down Alternative Comforters. These are extremely comfortable and we all love them. I recently purchased a king-sized one and what I received was another queen, although the packaging says king. It barely fits on my king-sized bed. Now I have to pay for shipping for sending it back. Why would I have to pay shipping when I clearly have the wrong size? Other companies cover the shipping costs. They don’t even give shipping labels. You need to create your own. I will not be shopping at Boscov’s online again.

Horrible company

First, I ordered a swimsuit for my daughter. A MONTH later, it hadn’t showed, so I asked customer service about it. They said they would trace it. They claimed it was then lost and refunded my money and said I could reorder it. I had already purchased a new swimsuit, so I declined.
Two months later, they have record that I received it and now they want payment. It arrived out of the blue two months after the order. I didn’t check my statement and had assumed they already charged me again. Now they want to charge me two months later than the arrival of the swimsuit.
They are a mess of a company, and I would never shop with them again. The item was not even as described, it is not a tall for my teenager, and we can’t use it. I’m happy to send it back, but it will be at my expense. It’s just not worth dealing with such incompetence.
