Excellent Support for GCSE Maths - Highly Recommended
My son has recently completed his first two lessons with Breakthrough Maths GCSE, and his immediate reaction was that they were extremely helpful. He said he understood the topics far better than he had in some of his school lessons and felt the teaching style made the material much easier to take on board.
The lessons are delivered over Zoom and are very well structured. Each lesson is repeated across two days (Monday and Tuesday, then Wednesday and Thursday), which gives good flexibility for attendance. If a session is missed, recordings are uploaded to Google Drive on Sundays, so nothing is lost and students can catch up at their own pace. That level of organisation makes a big difference.
My son Daniel is in his final year of high school, and with maths being such a critical GCSE subject, having access to structured, teacher-led sessions in a focused environment is hugely valuable. Left to revise alone, it is not always easy for teenagers to stay engaged, so this format really helps keep him on track.
We originally heard about Breakthrough Maths through our local rugby club, which had shared the sign-up link. We joined straight away, and we are very glad we did. The feedback from Daniel after just a couple of sessions shows how useful these lessons are, and I cannot thank the team enough for providing such a service.
If anything, I only wish there were similar programmes available in other subjects such as English, Science, Design Technology, Food and Nutrition, and PE. It would make a real difference to many students approaching their GCSEs.

Breakthrough maths is amazing.after just one lesson I fully understood quadratics .the sessions are is small sized groups which is great because I got much more attention then I usually would in class allowing me to ask questions and for then to actually be answered.would definetly recommend. 5 stars
