Very disappointing experience
Ordered Bedec MSP in anthracite gloss for click and collect (next working day).
No phone call or text to say item ready for collection. Phoned up chasing late afternoon - "yes it came this morning" said the girl "why didn't anyone let me know?" I asked "I don't know I wasn't here this morning said the girl" utterly disinterested.
Went to collect "why did no one contact me " I asked the bloke on the desk "I don't know, you should have been. Ok let me check - yeah you're on the list to let know, but I can see no one did" he says. Thanks - great service (not).
Use paint next day - on mixing can immediately see it's full of floaters and dry paint strings. Colour is about three shades lighter than the previous tins I've used. Mmmm. Put it through a fine mesh filter to get rid of floaters etc. Try a test patch on a piece of scrap plywood - paint just doesn't flow properly and dries very quickly in rough ridges.
Abandon. Reorder from another supplier. Couple of days later get paint - it's like completely different substance to the stuff Brewers supplied - utterly different colour (perfect match to the Bedec MSP I'd used previously) and flowed perfectly to leave a great finish.
I've no idea what was in the tin Brewers supplied me and I've no intention of using them again

Great service
Very happy with the service from Brewers.I took advantage of a 10% off offer for some Farrow and Ball paint. Ordered it one day for delivery and received the next day. You can't ask for more than that. They've such a good range of products too. Certainly no hesitation recommending them.

Items cheaper than expected
Items cheaper than expected, order taken as they were not in stock, (not fast moving item). Went back following day. Picked up items. Very polite and courteous service, even offered to carry the items to my car. How can that sort of service be improved?

Excellent place for all decorating supplies
I've used Brewers at Basildon a few times now, and the service is excellent, and also very helpful for phone enquiries. They also stock lots of stains and varnishes, and all the tools and brushes a decorator needs.
