I ordered the wrong product by mistake
I ordered the wrong product by mistake, then made a corrected order... both on the same credit card.
In-store, they were unable to refund the first purchase to my credit card due to a system malfunction.
However, the following day I received confirmation that the issue had been resolved at Head Office, and the credit arrived on my account the same day.
Good initiative from the counter-staff, efficient issue resolution and excellent customer communication.
Happy customer!

Rubbish!
Bought a 1 litre tin of paint which was extortionate, as said on website it was ''Royal Blue''(showing the colour). When got it home it was nothing like it. But more turquoise! Couldn't use it. Shop assistant at Christchurch, Dorset said it's ''because it is undercoat'' and then ignored me to serve the customer behind me. Why then does it say on website ''Royal Blue primer/undercoat'' when if it is undercoat it will be an entirely different colour. It should say ''Turquoise primer/undercoat'' so the customer knows exactly what they are buying. Was refused refund. But man on phone offered to ''help'' me buy more paint from them!!! Waste of time and £24! First and last experience of rip off merchants!

When purchasing an undercoat, they are limited to specific colours to ensure that the top coat covers properly. In this case, Turquoise is the correct undercoat shade for a Royal Blue top coat, as confirmed by the Dulux system. We definitely want to eliminate any confusion for customers and would therefore be interested to find out which product you purchased so that we can review the website’s wording, please could you send the product information to us at mail@brewers.co.uk.
