Come here if you're looking for expert advice
We were a bit clueless when it came to what we needed, but Beth was an expert and guided us through our options perfectly. We were given bad advice in a retail store to use primer on our freshly plastered walls but Beth said a mist coat would give much better results. We were able to pick a farrow and ball colour and have it mixed it in Albany which was much cheaper!

Lack of support and guidance
The Assistant appeared unfamiliar with the products and needed to ask for frequent guidance. While asking questions is an important part of learning, I felt that the manager could have provided more proactive support during the process. Additionally, there were a series of human errors at the till, which further affected the overall experience

Professional & Experienced
Friendly, helpful and courteous. I ordered a colour from the RAL range and was given the wrong shade due to mix up with base colour. However, from the initial phone call to collection of the correct shade, the staff at Stevenage put me at ease and nothing was too much trouble. They explained the mix up and replaced promptly.
