Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
Your order was placed on Friday 9th January at 14:26, after our 12 pm cut-off and late in the working day and our team do not work weekends.
While Monday 12th January was a full working day, we had other orders to manage and needed to confirm stock availability with our suppliers, which takes time.
Once supplier availability was fully confirmed, we were unfortunately advised that the parts would not be available for approximately one month.
We contacted you at 09:20 on Tuesday 13th January to explain this and to offer a full refund, which has now been processed.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

I'm very disappointed with your…
I'm very disappointed with your service, I placed an order since last Saturday and up until today I haven't gotten any information of when my materials will be delivered, this is absolutely poor service, I called twice or so and they kept telling me the person incharge of my order is not on sit, for crying out loud the client is on my neck and they're demanding an answer but I can't give them because I don't know what to say. Today is Tuesday 6/01/2026 no emails no call and no date of delivery just poor service.

Our offices were closed over the Christmas period, with our first trading day back on Monday 5th January.
After reopening, there was a short delay in contacting you while we worked through a backlog of orders from the Christmas period and sourced stock for your order, we acknowledge that our communication could have been clearer during this time.
On Wednesday, Steve from our team spoke with you and explained that there was no local stock of 3m boards available. It was agreed that we would supply 2.7m boards instead, along with a refund for the price difference. You confirmed you were happy to proceed, and the order is now scheduled for delivery.
We apologise again for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and appreciate your patience while we worked to find a suitable solution.

Still No Refund – Extremely Frustrating Experience
I placed Order #000129589 on 27/11/2025 for £176.36, and the company cancelled it. Today is 07/12/2025, and I still haven’t received my refund.
I contacted Building Materials Nationwide several times by email. Every time they replied with the same generic message saying that “everything is fine” and the refund is being processed, and that I should receive my money within 3–5 business days. Well, those deadlines have passed more than once.
I am tired of chasing them and repeatedly asking them to check the refund status. At this point it starts to feel suspicious, if not borderline fraudulent. I sincerely hope this gets resolved soon, but I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.
Think twice (or ten times) before dealing with this company.
I am giving 2 stars only because they at least respond to emails.
Update: I finally received my refund on 10/12/2025. I think that's quite a long time.

Thank you for your message, and we’re sorry for the frustration this situation has caused.
We can confirm we did cancel this order due to the fact it was a retail order and was not over the amount of £750, so unfortunately this order could not be processed.
After reviewing your order it appears the refund did not complete as expected due to a system processing issue, this prevented it from finalising automatically.
To resolve this as quickly as possible, we have now manually processed the refund.
You should see the funds return to your account shortly, depending on your bank’s processing times.
We sincerely apologise for the trouble this has caused and understand how disappointing this experience must have been.

BMN are just great prices across the board. Assuming the delivery goes well, they will be my go to from now on for all large jobs.
