We've been using BulkGate for the SMS…

We've been using BulkGate for the SMS layer of our SaaS product and it has simply worked. Messages go out fast and reliably, which matters a lot when they're transactional and the user is waiting for them.

What stands out most is the support. Whenever we've had a question, we got a real answer quickly - no ticket black holes. Registering new sender IDs is also handled fast, which is a big deal for us since we onboard new clients regularly and each one needs their own sender name.

The platform itself is straightforward to work with and easy to integrate. Solid choice if you need SMS you don't have to babysit.

I paid with paypal

I paid with paypal. The site said that the payment is "being reviewed", while the sum was deducted from my paypal account already. After 24 hours it was still not confirmed, and I could not use the service. Support phone not connected.
I wrote to support. The answered after a few hours. They said it was settled. Noting happened. More replies to support have not been replied to.

For security/anti-fraud reasons, some payments or new accounts may be temporarily placed under manual review, which can delay activation or trigger an automatic refund if verification fails.

We cannot locate your case from the display name in this review. Please contact us via the BulkGate Portal (Support) and include your account email + PayPal transaction ID (or payment date/amount).

Lack of support

After 5 days from the support ticket opening the Api is still not reachable from my production servers, I had to switch to another gateway. The support replied after 2 days asking for nonsense diagnostic requests (I write nonsense because in my first message there were enough information to exclude some network issues), after 4 days the support asked to list the affected ip addresses even if they were already listed in the first email. In other word they took time and the service is still blocked by some security filter.

Our API is protected by security layers (WAF/DDoS and abuse prevention). In some cases, legitimate traffic from certain IP ranges can be blocked and requires allowlisting or configuration changes.

We cannot identify your account from the review text. Please open a ticket via the BulkGate Portal (Support) and include: account email, timeframe, endpoint + HTTP status/error, and the public source IP.
