If I could give 0 stars I would! I ordered 2 vouchers for Christmas gifts, paid extra for fast delivery they never came! It took me to contact Buy a Gift for them to inform me my purchase hadn’t been processed correctly! They apologised sent the vouchers next day delivery and then refunded me £14 as a gesture of good will!! Now family have tried to use the vouchers they don’t work and say refunded!! Numerous and numerous emails explaining the same thing over and over again I have got no where at all! Finally today I got sent a PDF of one voucher which is completely wrong and has someone else name and birthday message on it, so I have now been given someone else gift!! I honestly couldn’t make it up absolutely appalled at the customer service and it’s now the end of March I am still 2 vouchers down!!! Avoid at all cost!!!!

It was good to be able to choose cost and type of gift.
Although I did order it more than once by mistake and it took me a while to find out how to cancel the extra item.

Communication, response times was poor, the wrong date was booked, hotel was lovely but would not put it at 4*, the list of shows was massively reduced and did not include the show we wanted.

It was a lovely surprise and easy to organise. We had a lovely day.

I booked an experience at The Cube London through Buyagift and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

After receiving my confirmation email, I followed all the steps to redeem my voucher and book my experience at The Cube London, but the voucher was not recognised. The process was far more complicated than it should have been. The website is difficult to navigate and not user-friendly, making it frustrating to complete the booking.

To make matters worse, resolving the issue has been nearly impossible. Customer support is limited to a chatbot, which repeatedly sends you in circles without offering any real assistance. I am still waiting for this issue to be resolved.

Overall, a very poor experience from start to finish. I would not recommend booking through Buyagift

I was given a 3 course meal for 2 at slug and lettuce for christmas.
i cant book it because i have to pay another £21 to upgrade to get the slug and lettuce voucher i have been bought?! how does that make any sense??
customer service is a JOKE. even after the years it takes to get through to an agent, they are rude, dont awnser your questions and their messages barely make sense, full of typos, and 20 minutes per reply.

thankfully got transferred to a new agent who was a lot more professional.

I found the whole experience of trying to book an experience very time consuming and difficult. Buying the vouchers is the easy bit. Getting them registered and then booking with the venue is time consuming and frustrating I feel. The idea of getting individuals to make their own registration and booking when part of a party is just a marketing exercise. Plus when asking for help I was asked three times to explain why I was contacting you today. Even booking with the venue was not without its problems. Overall not impressed. I will avoid Buyagift in future.

We had an afternoon tea bought for us. It was easy to redeem the voucher for the tea shop of our choice.

Went to use voucher code which was purchased and it said it was invalid. Asked customer service about it and they said i had to show proof of payment even though i did already and they refused to help any further

Good service in hotel we went to although we couldn’t use the qr code to book had to ring up

So easy to redeem our voucher and book our meal out.

I went to watch The Devil Wears Prada in London, and it was amazing. So surreal and just iconic.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone obsessed with the film.

We have been bought two of these as presents and unfortunately also bought family one before we understood the pitfalls .
Firstly the process is extremely difficult to navigate, the booklet shows a selection of choices that look great on the face of it but when you go to the website and try and book the restrictions are endless, there are often added costs and locations extremely limited.
Secondly, whether you book a hotel or meal, you will find your choices are limited to lower grade rooms or a set buyagift menu, the latter below par. As an example as follows:
We had a voucher valued at £120, we could not find a hotel for our supposed overnight romantic stay for this amount the extra cost was double at most venues. We therefore decided to use the voucher for a meal, we chose Gaucho in Birmingham. Booking was straightforward once we had exchanged the voucher and got the necessary codes however, when we arrived at the restaurant we were handed the buyagift menu, this was a set 3 course meal with a very limited choice of 3 starters and mains. We could not find anything we fancied so complained. We said we had been told in the buyagift literature that we would have a free glass of Prosecco and a meal to the voucher value. The restaurant were adamant this was not the case. Thankfully we stood our ground and called for the manager, he reluctantly allowed us to order food up to the voucher value and also threw in the free drink. However, when we examined the now full menu we noticed that the same buyagift menu we had been offered was available for £29 per person. Had we not challenged this we would have been hugely out of pocket.
Our second experience was similarly difficult and most disappointing. Furthermore, my daughter also had huge difficulty finding a hotel for her overnight stay within 100 miles of where they lived and in the end I ended up paying the difference so they could have a night away before the voucher expired….this cost me another £100.
My advice DO NOT BUY THIS AS A PRESENT IT IT TOO STRESSFUL AND DISAPPOINTING.

Staff were great. Food was great. Drinks were great. Surroundings fabulous by the river bank.

It was easy to book and the spa day was fabulous x

I have had several gift vouchers as birthday presents and never had a good experience. The vouchers are restrictive on dates, require a 'top up' fee to get what you actually want, or offer experiences that are just so far away. I wanted to use my latest voucher for a meal out but really struggled to get availability and no Saturday booking. I'd already paid an extra £12 to upgrade the voucher to make it into something worth using. I would recommend either buying a propper present or gifting actual cash. Much easier.

Stale sandwiches and stale scones, and bland desserts on the afternoon tea. Setting was nice but very poor, we expected more from a Hilton hotel.

Exchanged vouchers for 4 silver tickets and choose row N in the stalls.
Allocated very good seats and clear view at no extra cost
Voucher easy to exchange for a new experience.
Have already purchased vouchers to see Matilda later in the year
