I have been helping my sister to look for a small, great condition, low mileage car and found a Kia Picanto at Car Link Ferndown. We went for a test drive and today she has picked the car up. The service from Reece and Paul was, I have to say, the best I have received from any car sales I have had dealings with.

We bought a car from here in April everyone we engaged with, whether by phone or face-to-face was most helpful and made the buying process as easy as possible. We did part-exchange our older vehicle but this process was handled professionally.
All the cars on the lot were prepared and ready to go. This made the buying process easier. Despite travelling specifically to look at one particular car I had to try my hardest not to get distracted by the other cars on offer.

We have done business with Car Link on several occasions over the last year, both buying and selling cars. We have always found the whole team polite, helpful and knowledgable. Paul has always been our contact and we cannot praise him highly enough for his honesty and professionalism. We would recommend Car Link to anybody looking for a high quality used car and we will continue to be customers in the future.

I’ve just bought a Mercedes from car link, I’ve had many cars over the years, but these guys really do make sure the cars are top quality and ready for sale, they are spotless, my car looks brand new, the two sales guys Paul and Reece are not pushy the cars sells themselves. I feel totally confident if there was an issue they would sort it. My new car has a fresh mot and has been serviced.

Car link had a beautiful low mileage, one family owner Toyota GT86 sports car. It was a high price but well worth it considering the condition and rarity of the vehicle. When we arrived after travelling 251 miles we were pleasantly welcomed and shown the car outside which was exactly as described on the website. It was truly spectacular with its new ceramic coat and unblemished finish. Sadly the same could not be said for their disabled access to their facilities. All the entrances to their offices had a step with the exception of one which was locked with a message to use the other door. I eventually struggled in on walking sticks only to find I was then very politely asked to leave with my dog. The reason given was that an admin assistant was frightened of dogs. Both the wheelchair and dog would have been understandable if it were a surprise but the salesperson (P) was fully aware of the wheelchair as the boot dimensions of the sportscar were discussed on the telephone to check the wheelchair would fit prior to leaving a deposit and travelling over night and all the way from West Yorkshire to Bournemouth. The dog was also mentioned and not deemed to be a problem. It spoiled what should have been a marvellous experience. I was totally exhausted from having to walk instead of use my wheelchair. We had to stop off for the night on the way home as I was feeling quite unwell as a result of the experience. I'm sure the Equality Act 2010 requires all buildings to have disabled access. This is something I intend to follow up. Without the disabled access issue and the dog refusal I would have given this dealership 5 stars. Such a shame really. Its 2023 Car Link!

I was contacted today from Car Link. I received an apology with the disabled access issues and an assurance that the access will be improved to allow wheelchair users entry. It seems apparent from communications that disabilities are not always apparent on first sight. I do now have confidence that Car Link will remedy this situation and prevent further instances in the future occurring. I am reassured that the first impressions I had (which were high from the quality of the car to the friendliness of the staff) are true and that the access and dog issues are now being addressed. It has been a learning curve for all concerned.

I am further reassured that there has been a generous offer to support us if there are ever any warranty claims with the vehicle despite being over 250 miles away.

Visited car-link.co.uk based on reviews. Car had issues within a month of purchase however car-link.co.uk where not of help. Car-link.co.uk finally stopped responding and despite sending car-link.co.uk strong indisputable evidence there was no help from car-link.co.uk.
