David delivered the InDesign Essentials course in an absolutely outstanding manner! His knowledge was exceptional and his method of delivery was spot on. I came into the course with no InDesign experience, and have left with a solid understanding and the confidence to use InDesign for my design needs. It was the best training course I've attended and I highly recommend it.

Tutors are very knowledgeable and passionate. I've been attending these workshops for almost 20 years and have always been a very high quality learning experience.

An excellent training course by a highly knowledgeable instructor. I'd highly recommend City Desktop Training to anyone considering software training - I'm certainly looking into further courses I can do!

I completed a two-day course at City Desktop in Sydney on the 16th and 17th of April, 2018. The course met my expectations in every way. The training room was comfortable, and the computers and software provided were modern, and up to date. The course was well-paced, with a detailed introduction that made me feel at ease with the subject, before taking me into specific areas of the subject. The trainer, Annette, had the rare ability of quickly identifying the weakest trainee in our small group, and ensuring that she pitched her delivery to my level. I finished the course with the confidence to delve into the topic on my own, thanks to Annette. I shall be returning to City Desktop in future for more courses, and based on my experience, I strongly recommend them to anyone considering to acquire or upgrade skills in relevant areas.

Great instructor, well-paced lessons, covering a range of really great foundational topics. Wouldn't hesitate to come back for more lessons.

I thoroughly enjoyed my course from City Desktop training. My instructor was excellent at explaining things clearly and was able to answer any questions I had with ease. The things taught in the course were relevant to my everyday work, and the course materials and free resit are great ways to make sure you remember everything you've learned. Would highly recommend.

I attended the Photoshop Essentials 2 day course. It was excellent - there was a lot of content compacted into 2 days and it moved at a good pace. It was easy enough to follow along, as long as you didn't get distracted. The trainer was good at keeping everyone on track and dealt well with those who were a bit slower at learning, giving them more attention without slowing down the rest of the group. He was also engaging and kept your attention. There were frequent enough breaks so it didn't feel like an overwhelming amount to learn in 2 days. A week after the course, a lot of what we learnt has already been useful in my job.

City Desktop Training is a fantastic training company for Adobe products. I recently finished 6 days of training with them for Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.

Had an amazing trainer in David for the Illustrator and InDesign essentials courses. Knows his stuff, provides extra context outside of the course and relates it to industry.

I have used these products for years on an ad hoc basis, but I gained so much from it. I should have done it years ago!

The Photoshop course was disappointing though. I had a different trainer Nicky for this one and she just isn't in the same league. Basically just taught what some of the tools and and what they do, not how best to use them. I also learnt more about resolution and colour in the Illustrator and InDesign courses, which was surprising, but I suspect it is just down to the trainer. I do not feel any more confident using Photoshop having done the course, which is disappointing.

Still, a good course and plenty of content covered.

Would I hesitate recommending City Desktop Training - short answer is no. But, I'd be a picky with who the trainers are for future courses.
