SAFETY CONCERNS NOT SUBSTANTIATED BY DOCUMENTED RECORDS
We are sorry to read this review and would like to clarify several important points based on documented facts.
The matter raised during the program related exclusively to class level placement within a structured summer day camp program in Barcelona, a standard academic adjustment that was addressed in coordination with the partner camp’s academic team. At no point were any safety-related concerns reported to us or confirmed by the camp provider. While we remained in direct contact and supported the family throughout, academic decisions are determined by the camp’s academic team.
Throughout this period, we remained in direct contact with the family and actively assisted in resolving the situation, including providing support over the weekend to ensure a timely resolution.
The initial program concluded on July 18th. It was clearly communicated by email that a second booking for the younger sibling would only proceed if the situation had been resolved. A second booking was then made immediately afterwards, confirming that the matter had been satisfactorily addressed at that time.
This second booking was requested at very short notice (the Friday before a Monday start), and we made every effort to accommodate it during peak season within a summer day camp program operated by our partner language school in Barcelona.
We also note a clear inconsistency between the severity of the claims made in this review and the subsequent actions taken, including proceeding with another booking for the younger sibling after the situation had been resolved.
Furthermore, the date referenced in the review (July 21st) does not correspond to any reported incident. According to both our records and confirmation from the partner summer camp in Barcelona, where the program took place, no issues were reported on that date, nor were any concerns raised to us at that stage.
As outlined in our terms and conditions, we operate our own Spanish language school in Malaga and also collaborate with accredited partner schools and summer camp providers in other destinations. In this case, the program in Barcelona was delivered by a partner summer camp, where both siblings were enrolled, including the second booking made immediately after the resolution of the class level placement matter, which was the only issue raised during the program. Throughout, we provided continuous support to the family, as was the case here.
