We recently had a new fully-zoned heating system with a combi boiler installed by Paul and his team and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The entire installation was completed within two days and the workmanship was excellent. Everything was left neat and tidy. They even went the extra mile by plastering the walls where they had to chase, which was a really nice touch. Paul and his team were friendly, professional, and offered genuinely helpful advice throughout the process. Had an issue with my oil boiler and contacted Paul Caton Gas and Oil Services after reading some good reviews. From start to finish, the service was absolutely first class. The booking process was smooth and efficient, and I was given a clear time slot for the engineer’s arrival—which they stuck to.

The engineer (George) arrived right on time, was polite and professional, and quickly got to work. After a thorough inspection, they identified the issue within minutes and explained everything clearly, including what needed fixing and why. Had an engineer visit to review a leak - after a 30 second inspection was advised that the heat exchanger had died and was more cost effective to have a new boiler @ a cost of £4950.00
I have since had the boiler repaired at £750.00 - would not trust these as far as I could throw the boiler

Just had a new Worcester boiler fitted by Paul and co. A very professional job done leaving our house clean and tidy. Once we agreed an installation date this was done on time. They added two additional radiators for a very reasonable surplus. A fully accredited installer that I would not hesitate asking for any other plumbing work.

Had my boiler replaced through Worcester Bosch as Paul is an approved installer. After initially contacting WB Paul contacted me with a suitable date and time within hours and the new boiler was fitted within three days at a very competitive fixed price. The boiler was fitted by John and Harriet , who were punctual and totally professional, nothing phased them even though some off the installation was less than easy. Fitted and commissioned within the day with no fuss, drama, or problems. Absolutely no mess whatsoever everything neat and tidy and accessible for future servicing, all in all a first class job . Our boiler needed replacing, I was dreading getting it done as we had heard so many horror stories. However I contacted Paul and he was very quick to respond and came out to assess our old boiler and give a quote. He was professional, courteous and respectful. I was at work but my husband wad very impressed with Paul's whole attitude. Paul was very busy, but he came out the next day on a Sunday, to fit our new boiler as he was busy for the next few weeks and he may not have been able to fit us in for a while. But we were very happy with this time scale. The work was carried out by Paul and his team. They were all very professional and courteous, The boiler was fitted within the day, he even sorted out some previous bad pipe work. He has registered our Worcester boiler with the manufacturer and we have received confirmation from them of the 10 year guarantee. We will be taking out a service plan with Paul as we trust him and his team. We would definitely recommend him to other people.

Had quotes for a replacement oil boiler that was well past its sell by date. Contacted Paul, he came out to quote within a couple of days. Arrived when expected, had a very reasonable quote. Agreed for work to commence, Had a cancellation so fitted me in the following day as my boiler finally have up the ghost. Found him and his worker to be very efficient and very pleasant. All completed same day, paperwork and warranty all sorted for me. Would highly recommend.

I wanted to replace a very old oil boiler but changes in regs prevented a straight swap. The answer was an external Worcester Bosch combi oil boiler. Paul and his team took out my old boiler cylinder & tanks, constructed a base then installed the external boiler with new pipework & 3 new radiators, all at a very competitive price - by far the best quotation I had received for the job.. I now have an efficient boiler with a 7 year warranty & additional space in the house. Paul listens to your needs and is prepared to go the extra mile to give you what you want. Work was clean and tidy with George doing an excellent job of covering carpets where necessary. Any holes from old pipework were made good & all waste materials removed from site. Paul and his team were all pleasant, polite & helpful at all times. Paul is very prompt in replying to messages and all paperwork was completed on installation. I have no hesitation in recommending Paul Caton Gas & Oil Services.

We have previously been on a home care plan for a number of years with a national company. Our boiler broke down and when we called them out they said it was beyond economical repair. They gave us a free quote which with the rising prices, was a large sum.
So we decided to do a quick google search and Paul Catton was one of the first on the list. We reached out to him and he was very responsive and provided a much in depth quote, which was considerably a lot less.
The boiler also came with a better guarantee from Worchester Bosche. When they came to install it they worked efficiently and very tidy.
Would highly recommend using Paul Catton as he won't leave you in the cold and is always happy to help in any way he can.
A company that treats you better than a big national company and a lot cheaper.

I bought a care cover plan and when I had a problem with the boiler I contacted Paul caton,
We arranged for him to come to come to my house the following Friday to assess the problem,
On the Thursday evening I sent Paul caton a text massive to see if he had a rough idea on time he would be here but I received no reply,
On the Friday morning I rang him to confirm he was still coming to look at the boiler and I was told ( I'm on the way to Birmingham now with a shocked voice ) and he would be here late afternoon,

Just before 7pm I tried ringing him and sent a text asking if he was still coming and I got no response again,
later I send him an email saying I'm going to seek to recover the monies I ALREADY PAID IN ADVANCE and I suddenly got a text saying he has covid and someone else would ring me ,
I do try and support the local independent businesses but shame this guy will never see another penny from me and I definitely will NOT recommend Paul caton gas service to anyone in the future
The first contact with Paul was at 0900 on the 10th 11th and 12 January and the contract was taken out on 4th of November 22 so he's coming out with even more lies plus I have never had a British gas contract for boiler cover or installation,

Paul came out several times to help us decide which boiler was needed for our size house. Nothing was too much trouble.
Within a week he had sorted a day out to fit our new boiler. They came on that day spent the whole day fitting it and changing pipe work.
I would not hesitate to recommend Paul and his team. His price for the job is very competitive and I’m sure a lot cheaper than others. They get on with the job and they are very hard workers. The fact that they are Oftec registered and Worcester Bosch accredited gives you piece of mind with a job well done !

Had a recent boiler replacement which was a complex job as we switched from non-combi to combi, and changed the location of the boiler.

First of all, the quote was very competitive, and as Paul is an accredited Worcester installer there is a 12 year guarantee.

Whilst on the job Paul and his colleague did everything to the highest standard, making all pipework tidy, filling in holes etc that were left from the old boiler. Once complete they explained how the system worked, what the different pipes/filters were for so I felt fully confident once they left our property.

I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone. Thanks!

After struggling to find someone to fit a new replacement boiler quickly. Paul gave us good advice on the replacement boiler at a very competitive price that day and fitted the boiler within the week. His team did a great job and were very friendly & professional. I would recommend them 100%.
