Called John from Saltney Locksmiths this morning for a broken lock on my mum's door. He worked around the times she was available and the lock was fixed before 11am. John gave me the maximum price the job might cost, depending on what was required, and it was well below this. Great service! Would recommend and use again in the future.

Superb service. Early Saturday morning unable to gain access to secure safe room. Called out CL. Arrived within 30 mins. Very difficult job, not straightforward at all. 3 hours later job done. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended. A family business with integrity.

I was put in a very stressful situation today when my housemate tried to move out without paying what she owes me. She left all of her belongings in the house and left the back door and gate open, presumably so she could retrieve them when I wasn't home (and took all the back door keys). However, as she hadn't locked the door I notified the landlord who put me in touch with Nigel from Chester Locksmiths. I left a message explaining it was an emergency as I couldn't lock the door and so the house wasn't secure, and he called me straight back and told me he'd be there within the hour. He arrived promptly and got the job done professionally and quickly. He gave me a discount on the work if I could pay cash, and when I explained I hadn't been able to leave the house due to the door, and that my sister lives close by and was on her way with the money, he was happy to wait.This despite the fact that he could have taken a cheque and charged me the VAT. My housemate showed up, and he stood with me whilst I confronted her about the money and the locks, and waited patiently until my sister arrived to pay him. On a very stressful day he was a massive help, not just getting the work done so fast, but in taking the situation into account and just being a really good guy. I would highly recommend Nigel and Chester Locksmiths to anyone in a jam who needs a locksmith.
