Just viewed a studio apartment in Camelot Court. Ifield. Crawley. West Sussex.
There was mould in kitchen cupboards and also in the main living/sleeping area. Absolutely disgusting. Tenant's are supposed to pay decent rent too.
The landlord needs to get this inspected ASAP.

I cannot recommend Nikki Gunner highly enough – she is truly exceptional.About a year ago, I faced a very stressful situation with my let property managed by Choices: the tenants moved in but stopped paying rent entirely, essentially treating the flat like squatters/occupants. It was a nightmare, but Nikki stepped in and handled everything with outstanding expertise, intelligence, and efficiency.She has an incredible knowledge of the relevant legislation and eviction processes, which made all the difference in navigating what could have been a long, complicated, and expensive ordeal. Nikki was calm, strategic, proactive, and always one step ahead – she guided me through every stage lawfully and effectively, ensuring the matter was resolved properly. Thanks to her brilliant work, we recently received the Bailiff's notice for the final eviction, bringing this difficult chapter to a close.Throughout, Nikki was responsive, clear in her communication, and genuinely caring about getting the best outcome for me as her client. Significant Failure in Duty of Care and Professionalism
I am writing this to warn potential tenants, particularly those who may be vulnerable, about the conduct of Choices Estate Agents in Redhill.
While I was recovering from major neurosurgery, I was forced to navigate an urgent safety crisis that necessitated my removal from the property via a court order. The agency was fully aware of the scheduled hearing and the safety risks involved, yet they showed a complete lack of professional discretion.
Despite the court listing falling two days after the rent due date, a matter entirely outside of my control, the agency have prioritised the pursuit of those 48 hours of rent over human decency. It is clear that this branch has no internal Domestic Abuse policy or protocol for tenants in crisis.
Instead of providing a clear, supportive pathway, they were obstructive and sent consistently confusing and unprofessional emails.
They forced a post-operative patient to undergo unnecessary legal stress just to secure my safety and remove my name from the agreement. I would strongly advise any person, particularly women or those with health concerns, to avoid this agency. They have proven they do not have the infrastructure to handle anything beyond a standard business transaction and will not support you when your safety is at stake.

POOR POOR POOR USE REPUTABLE AGENTS NOT THESE BUNCH
Unfortunately i can only be honest and speak from my experiences with Choices.
They are clearly an agent for landlords only, as a tenant through every aspect of my rental period i felt abandoned and unsupported by them. when there was issues with the property they failed to arrange repairs, poor communications on all fronts, also a very high staff turn over which speaks volumes and finally just a lack of general good morals and decency in ensuring tenants are cared for. instead it was all revenue revenue revenue and focus on not disturbing the landlord or addressing issues with him.
PLEASE PLEASE if you are a good tenant steer clear of these people, and if you are a Bad tenant with them i hope you get one back for the decent people who rent.

Hold up tenancy deposit for unreasonable period
Try to avoid renting property with them.
7 weeks already without returning the tenancy nor advising the proposed amount to be returned.
Paid £400 for their professional check out cleaning, but afterwards coming back to us with stains, little stickers, forcing you to come back and clean it yourself. (Not to mention those were cleaned by myself in mins but I spent 6 weeks dealing with those irresponsive agents to come back). At the end, I just reach out to landlord directly to "force" these agents to act.
Claiming a missing item from the check-out report, but you could find it straight on the table after weeks of discussion. Wasting my money and time to get a new one for them.
Thought it would be an end, after tackling each of their ridiculous observations. Sorry No, they went missing again for another week, still having got a response or return after all.
You never thought you will need to raise complaint to TDS to get your own money back. Its just a few grands to me, but its totally a waste of time and effort.
Not sure what I am paying for!
Choices continue to inform me of issues and offer no solutions/guidance or management of any kind. This is the 3rd time I have been left to sort out the issues my tenant is facing. Given the fees are 11% of the rental value, this service is completely inadequate. I will be sending formal notice to end my contract with Choices tomorrow.
