Inaccurate Clinical Guidance: Delayed My Employment & Cost 6 Hours Travel
I am writing this review to express my extreme frustration with the CityMD Flemington location regarding a PPD skin test administered on Friday, February 13, 2026. This test was a mandatory requirement for medical clearance with a new employer.
At the time of injection, I was explicitly told by the staff that I could return as late as Monday, Feb 16, for the reading. Relying on this professional guidance, I drove 1.5 hours each way (a 6-hour total round trip over two visits), only to be refused a reading upon arrival and told the window had "expired."
The impact of this staff error has been severe:
• Financial Loss: I missed a full day of work to attend this appointment, resulting in lost wages.
• Employment Risk: This error has delayed my medical clearance, creating a negative impression with my new employer and potentially pushing back my start date.
• Physical/Logistical Burden: I have wasted 6 hours in transit based solely on incorrect instructions provided by CityMD.
Because this error lies entirely with CityMD’s conflicting clinical instructions, I am seeking an immediate resolution. I am requesting that CityMD:
1. Full Cost Waiver: Cover the total cost of a QuantiFERON blood test to rectify the invalid PPD.
2. Letter of Responsibility: Provide a formal statement on letterhead to my employer confirming this delay was due to CityMD administrative error.
3. Expedited Results: Priority processing to prevent further employment delays.
I expect a member of management or patient relations to contact me immediately to resolve this.
