I used to use nice and easy In the 90's early 2000's. It was cheap and good. Then Julia Louis dreyfus started doing commercials for it and got expensive so I stopped. I switched to Revlon color silk but got tired of the bleeding and making my jewelry black around my neck. I use black shades. Well started spending more for better brands, difference companies. All good. Decided to try nice and easy after many years of not using it. Got a black shade, don't remember which one. Anyways I put it on and didn't feel anything weird. Just like any other dye. Went to rinse it out in the shower my head started burning. My hair just kept coming out SO MUCH it was scaring me. The conditioner seemed like it would never rinse out and hair kept coming out. From the root! It's been over a week now just washed my hair again using regular shampoo and conditioner. Still burning scalp, burning eyes and hair coming out. It's like the dye is not staying and trying to come off but won't. The lather from the conditioner mixed with the remaining dye chemicals made the lather thick and not normal. I'm just super pissed and worried. Of course I don't have the box because I wasn't thinking this kinda thing would ever happen from a major company. I'm never using anything from Clairol again not just nice and easy. I hope after a couple of more rinses It will stop. I have thick hair but that won't last long if this keeps going. My hair is my pride I'm not happy and just worried.

I used Nice and Easy Light Ash Blond on my blond/grey hair today. I'm horrified by the result, I now have pinky purple hair. I'm so upset and don't know what to do to rectify it. My scalp feels sensitive too. A total disaster. Do not buy this product.

Just finished using nice n easy 9b light beige blonde. I don’t know if they’ve changed the formula. But wow the smell was so strong and full on. My eyes felt like they were burning while using it. I opened the window and door while using it and still found it hard to breathe while using. It felt like I had mixed together chemicals that shouldn’t be mixed. I’ve used nice n easy many times over the years and never had this happen. Before. This felt like using straight bleach. Never will I ever use this again. Definitely don’t recommend at all.

Have been using Clairol medium ash blonde hair dye for years. Always been happy with colour and condition until they brought out their new and improved formula. It’s more runny, colour too light and the conditioner doesn’t make your hair shiny or brittle free, unlike the old conditioner. I know this because I had an unopened old tube of conditioner and, wow, what a difference to the condition of my hair after dyeing.

The colour was medium ash blond. The result is brown! An awful dull brown. Most disappointing

I bought the clairol 9A Light ash blonde so I could go a shade lighter and to get rid of the grey in my hair. All this did was give my hair a red tint and didn't cover up none of the grey and I bought 2 boxes of this stuff to make sure I had enough. I'm so disappointed in this product. I think I deserve a refund.

Bought the nice and easy by Clairol in shade light ash blonde 9A. My hair was already ash blonde so assumed this would be a shade lighter. For some reason my hair is darker than what it was and is nowhere near the colour shown on the box. Very unhappy as now have to wait weeks to redo my hair (will be using a different brand) so stuck with this stupid hair colour till then.

If I could give this -5 stars I would. I've used Clairol NicenEasy for around 10 years and have loved it until this last time.

I have lost at least 75% of my hair. It just fell out in hands full to the point where I was too afraid to even put a comb near it.

It has been a devastating experience for me.

Anyone want to join a class action against Clairol?

DONT USE! MY DAUGHTER'S HAIR IS FALLING OUT!!!!!

I'm a licensed cosmetologist for 41 years. Have been using Clairol liquid and cream color with Clairol 20 Developer. The last 3 customers plus myself today. Their roots were red! Very noticeable red. I used cool tones and they've always had the same color for the last several months. They are younger and their hair has not changed. Clairol has a problem with their color or Developer peroxide. I used a cool color on my hair, it turned my color redish!!! Never again switching back to Framesi. I specialize in color and highlighting. This is not normal. Having to color to correct issues that are from a bad batch of colors and time involved plus not to mention their time and frustration.

A complete waste of money! My hair yesterday, put a permanent Clairol colour on it this afternoon to remove any greys yet your product has proved to be an absolute pile of rubbish ! I am going to have to go and buy another product that works on grey hair (permanent like yours is supposed to be) just to do that job properly ! your product is junk 🤬

I must say that was the worst hair dye product I have ever used! I felt kind of burning sensation after 10 minutes past application. Shampooed straight away only to discover my hair felt dry, weirdly ‘plasticky’ and wire like. I applied a lot of conditioner hoping that it will help! I don’t normally write reviews but this product should have a warning on the label!

This product used to give good coverage on grey hair, however, since they changed it from a liquid to a cream, a couple of years back it is definitely not so good. It has to be left on much longer than they say to get any sort of coverage and even then the grey hair is still lighter in colour than the rest of it. When I can find something that does the job better make no mistake, I will stop using it!

Awful… used medium brown over my own dark hair with highlights, it turned out dark purple all over, atrocious… also lots of hair came out in first rinse. Please don’t use this awful cheap and nasty stuff.

My naturally blonde hair is now white which I hate as I’m very fair skinned. I have used Pale Blonde 9 PB but this is too dark and certainly does not give me pale blond hair. I tried Baby Blonde 10 but that stripped ALL my colour away. I’m now using the colourant from 9PB only to put some colour back! It does work but not sustainable financially as I have to throw the rest of the box away. WHY are there not colours that work for white hair!

Colour my hair at least once a month using your product, just put 6R on as usual and its burnt all my scalp, the pain was unbearable, jumped in shower immediately to wash it off, you must have changed the ingredients!! I WILL NEVER USE NICE AND EASY AGAIN!!! (Wouldnt even give it 1 star) 🤬

I have been offered 2p in compensation for a spoiled product and for my time and effort in bothering to bring it to Clairol/Wella's attention. Having explained that 2p compensation is wholly unacceptable and an insult, they have increased it to 52p. I guess that shows how "valued" I am to them as a customer.

Really don't use! I chose a dark brown shade and it has turned out a flat, dull BLACK with golden brown roots which were grey. Looks horrendous I've never used such a terrible hair dye. Usually a dark brown would give an even coverage of that colour..
Also it really stains your skin and scalp and the bathroom! Doesn't wipe off.
The worst thing is when I washed my hair handfuls of hair we're coming out no exaggeration. My hair is ruined and extremely dry and broken. AVOID!!!

I have coloured my hair many times, (roots or full head). this was the first time I used this product. I was mot impressed. The result was lighter than suggested so had to redo with a better product. Also runnier so made more mess.
definitely won't use again.
