Terrible customer experience Freezed withdrawal for months I got a successful one as soon as 👉👉R𝖾𝗍ri - evi: t𝕒 stepped in

Had to pay 950 pound fee upfront and they put me forward for a mainstream lender who flat-out refused to offer me a mortgage. Their terms make clear the 950 fee is non-refundable. I'm a day rate contractor and mainstream lenders won't lend to me. I had expected them to use specialised lenders who cater for contractors. I was concerned at the adviser using a mainstream lender for my application but assumed she knew what she was doing. Feel really scammed and let down. Adviser was very judgemental and blaming towards my contractor status.

Spoke to Amy Hart about a mortgage, I was asked questions, which were either irrelevant, patronising or inappropriate. I was asked the reason I was interested in purchasing a property in another city where I did not live, whether I wanted a variable or fixed interest mortgage. I advised that I would opt for fixed, I questioned the reason for opting for variable.

If, I am relying on the professional services of an advisor based on an unstable market, no one should be questioned for electing for fixed interest rates.

The whole conversation was very negative, she presented several hurdles without any resolution, she inferred that I was wasting my time, and she didn’t really want to help me obtain a mortgage based on our conversation.

There are lot’s of positive reviews for this company, but unfortunately my experience was very negative and for that reason I would not recommend the company.

The company should review my telephone conversation, Any needs training in relation to asking appropriate, non-offensive questions which results in potential customers feeling attacked for wanting to secure a mortgage.

Prior to contacting the company I had spoken to several companies so, I was aware of questions which would be asked, and no one else asked inappropriate questions.

Totally shocked that Costco have anything to do with this company as they are totally useless. They take all your details and then just don't bother with you. 3 times I chased them and each time they promised to call back - and never once did!!!

Only call this company if you're prepared to have your time wasted.

Although I have not succeed in securing my next mortgage through CMME, but with my Bank, I would like to highly recommend a mortgage advisor Alix McCambridge, who has helped me through the application process with the lender.
Alix had been professional, positive and always maintained good communication channels by email and telephone.
Although, a chosen lender did not offer a mortgage Alix had other lenders on ready, which I'm sure wuold have worked out eventually.
Overall CMME are reputable firm and Alix is a great asset to them.

I can not speak highly enough about excellent service I received from CMME. My case was quite a complex one and I had lost hope of ever getting a mortgage but Billy did everything in his power to find me a good lender that not only was willing to give me a mortgage but was willing to do so at a great rate. The process of gathering all the required documents was a bit long but that's just to make sure that everything is ready by the time the application is submitted. We had a Little hiccup with the first lender falling through at the last minute but Billy was very quick to find me another suitable lender in a matter of days and in just over a week from application, the offer came through! I honestly couldn't be happier. Billy and Helena are the best team I could have wished for. From start to finish, they were always readily accessible and always communicated in a timely manner. No question was too stupid for them, they explained everything with so much expertise and patience. Thank you Billy and Helena you have helped me achieve my goal of becoming a home owner. I will definitely recommend you to all my contractor friends looking to get a mortgage! Keep up the good work guys.

We are so thankful to Leigh Balfour and Helena Grundy from CMME for their help, patience, speed, professionalism and expertise in dealing with issues! All very much appreciated! This is the third house we are buying via CMME and we have always been successful thanks to them and specifically Leigh (and Helena for the last one). They also have modern systems in place. Leigh will choose the best lender to suit your needs and expectations and she will fight for the best interest rates for you. Helena will advise you on the suitability of your documents and both will support you throughout the whole process.
My partner is a contractor but CMME are experts in dealing with contractors too so this obstacle was turned into a positive.
In other words: highly recommended in every way!

Excellent Customer Service - NOT

I tried to call this company, that apparently prides itself on its excellent customer service, to enquire about a Buy to Let mortgage - there was no answer on the advertised number.

I then filled out the form and I was called back by an Ann-Marie, I was busy and she offered to call back in 30 minutes - no call came.

I decided to call an hour or so later and asked to speak to Ann-Marie. She was 'unavailable' and so was every other 'consultant'.

A few hours later Ann-Marie called me, I decided that I may as well ask for information so I explained what I needed. I was put through to 'Senior Consultant Steve' who took the details and promised to call me the following day after making enquiries. NO CALL came yet again and hasn't in the last 2 days, I've now gone elsewhere.

And this is a company that apparently has a Platinum Feefo Award for Customer Services....
