We found the company to be extremely helpful when choosing our accessible caravan. The caravan we bought was beautiful and when we collected it the handover was so smooth, useful and informative. The caravan was extremely clean inside and out. Highly recommend this company as I'm sure we will have many happy holidays in it.
I would like to say a big thankyou to Kate and her staff for the efficent way they dealt with the adaptions to our caravan we are over the moon with the work carried out and would definitely recomend coachbuilt to anybody considering having adaptions to their leisure vehicle Many Thanks for job well done.
We had our caravan serviced with Coachbuilt and found the process so smooth, very friendly helpful staff. Good value and would 100% recommend.

Coachbuilt were recommended to us after we’d had a cowboy of a company incorrectly install so many elements of our camper. They saved the day and finished the job with such professionalism and great customer service. Just wish we’d found them in time to do the full build

We had a waste and fresh water tank fitted by Coachbuilt on our campervan giving us so much more freedom when camping.
Very happy with the communication throughout the process and the workmanship is excellent.
Would use again and will recommend to fellow camper people.

Took my camper to Coachbuilt, spoke to Kate about my requirements. Could not do enough for me and even offered ideas that I would never have thought of.
The team there are very skilled and know what they are on about. I am going to be taking my camper there again very soon with another modification I want.

Update on my review 1 star rating on trustpilot (16th Oct 2024) on Coachbuilt for their bespoke modification on my motorhome, Coachbuilt reply to my review on 19th 0ct 2024.
No one from this company got in touch with us, so after about 2 weeks we sent an email to them. (This is how good this company is).
This company wants us to agree to the following get our motorhome fixed:
- Each party to agree to pay 50% of the total cost of engagement of their 3rd party. So, I have to pay for their mess (poor workmanship). I have agreed to this but only if their 3rd party does a written report on their workmanship & materials used first.The Managing Director of this company will not agree to this (why) is it because their 3rd party will find the same faults. This company blames everyone except themselves.
The first report was by Midland Vehicle Assessments LTD on 20th April 2021
This was rejected by Coachbuilt on the 4th October 2021 in a email letter stating that "There is no evidence that Mr Southall has any qualifications, with respect to motorhome habitation area construction".
Mrs Birch said in her reply to my first review is that I paid for this report myself (that is true) but what the Managing Director didn’t say is that before the 2nd report was completed all three of us were in talks for some time before they pulled out. We still sent an invite for Mr Bull to attend this meeting so he could see it was being done professionally (they declined our invite)
We strongly recommend you take time to obtain a copy of Dave Shaw report (I would have uploaded a copy but the report is too large for this site as it is (43 pages long) so you can make your own mine up whether to use this company or not.
We wish that we had taken the time in completing a check list before we used this company, we have made a check list below:
Check list
1 check to see if they are an approved workshop for your make of caravan or motorhome, This working relationship with all manufactures does count if it all goes pear shape (speak to your main dealer about your warranty?)
2 Are they part of any (ADR) Alternative Dispute Resolution (if not walk away).
3 Check where all materials are coming from i.e. main dealer or pattern parts.
4 Get a complete set of drawings from them before work is carried out.
5 Read all their terms and conditions before work starts and get every thing in writing first

if the Managing Director will not provide you with a copy ask for my email address and I send you all photos including damages to my motorhome plus both reports. This company blames everyone except themselves I stand by my reviews about this company

We at Coachbuilt are a specialist in the bespoke manufacture of wheelchair accessible motorhomes, caravans and everyday vehicles, Mr and Mrs Brown engaged use to complete a 'layout change' not for independent living needs, but because they wanted a 'layout change' (following 5 failed attempt to reject Motorhome to Elddis when they initially bought it in 2017).
We recognise Mr and Mrs Brown as previous clients of Coachbuilt - however, their comments and review, do not actually provide the full truth and do not offer a true or accurate account of their experience with Coachbuilt - or should we say 'our experience of dealing with Mr and Mrs Brown'.
However, as a customer focused company, in 2020 (when they were actually active clients) we attempted to work with Mr and Mrs Brown to meet their demands even, when their demands became whole-heartedly unreasonable and at times aggressive, we attempted to resolve every issue to the best of our ability with the scope of our contract.
Ultimately, Mr and Mrs Browns 'modus operandi' in their own works is to continually post 1-star reviews, until they obtain financial gain, to which they are not entitled to.
The reader should note, Coachbuilt GB insisted Mr and Mrs Brown obtain legal advise to allow us to work with them professionally and in the scope of the contract, however, Mrs and Mrs Brown's relationship with their legal council soon ended as they ignored their own legal advice.
It would also be important to note, Mr and Mrs Browns first review was not published until October 2024, some 3,1/2 years after their experience, it contained 19 erroneous statements, each pointed out to Mr Brown which he did not dispute, instead he published his second review (as above) simply repeating exactly the same dis-information.
Regrettably, Mr and Mrs Browns actions continues to unfairly upset and detrimentally all at Coachbuilt including our After-sales service who have written literally hundreds of emails and letters and made many offers of help over the past 5 years.
True after-sales caring and true dedication.

Unfortunately, Mr and Mrs Brown have character traits we have never experienced before.(And we hope not to again).
We at Coachbuilt GB work really hard to provide life-changing wheelchair accessible vehicles, will continue to do so.
We feel it is a huge shame individuals such as Mr and Mrs Brown undertake to take advantage of hard-working companies, who only offer their best attention, quality and service.
Please look past this review and look at all the other 5 star reviews, awards etc and please contact us directly, come and meet our staff and see our professionalism, workmanship, standards and philosophies, you will be amazed at what we do and you will see for yourself how false Mr Brown’s reviews are.

We took our 2018 Motorhome to Coachbuilt for a 'refresh', air suspension and modification to the lounge area, just to make it more comfortable for us.
We are so pleased with the results, the Motorhome was immaculately finished.
I bought my motorhome from Kate, Chris and the team 3 years ago. I have had a few problems over the years and the team have been exceptionally good in resolving my issues. I still contact the office from time to time for help and the are team are soooo helpful. If they don't have the answer they will point you in the right direction. You always need a phone a friend option in a motorhome and coachbuiltgb is mine.
We bought a Bailey caravan. What an absolute pleasure to deal with the team at Coachbuilt, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was friendly and helpful. After sales care excellent too. Would definately recommend them.

I’d been researching rear air suspension for my motorhome for a while and decided on the VB product as it seemed to have the best reviews.
Thankfully after a bit of Googling I found Coachbuilt offered a fitting service.
I have to say from initial point of contact the whole experience has been a very good one.
