Unbelievably rude
Your recommended trader turned up 2 hours early for an appointment to look at quoting for a conservatory roof and was adamant I had the time wrong even though I had the appointment details on my phone direct from you. I had another traders employee turn up at the same time to quote for insulating the house roof generally to be told he had just been told he should !!!! Off as he would not be doing any work at mine as this bloke who was early stated he was doing it. I cancelled the appointment of the company who turned up early as a result of the rude behaviour. The insulating guy was visibly shaken and said I don't do conservatories and was happy to leave under the circumstances and whats his problem. I did call you and report the incident which I am sure was recorded and I was very upset and angry. You were going to review your relationship with the recommended trader company and hope you do as its an experience I have never had before and hope no one else ever has to experience. I do appreciate your company behaved fine but the trader is effectively representing you did not behave well.

We completely understand your frustration, particularly given the confusion around the appointment time and, more importantly, the behaviour you witnessed towards another contractor. This is certainly not the experience we expect any customer or tradesperson to have when using our service.
As you rightly point out, although the trader is an independent company, they were recommended through our service and we recognise that this means their conduct reflects on us. We take that responsibility seriously.
We are pleased that you felt our own team dealt with your complaint appropriately when you contacted us, and we can confirm that concerns of this nature are taken seriously and are reviewed as part of our ongoing assessment of the traders we work with.
