I like that they test products and keep us updated on new information on the products. I only buy what they have tested.

I don't believe you should be allowed to gatekeep such information like this. This is why the poor get poorer. We can't eat organic because it's too expensive. We can't read what the elite read because we can't afford it. I try to take good care of myself but how can I when I don't know what kinds of rice have arsenic in them or if I'm taking a supplement that's bogus. I really don't believe this should be allowed.

I utilize ConsumerLab every week and trust them fully. I appreciate how many products they research and all the consumer education they provide. I recommend them to everyone. I believe ConsumerLab has saved me a lot of money over time by not wasting my money on products that are worthless. Thank you ConsumerLab!

Very good way to learn more about different kinds of supplements and how they can improve your life.

ConsumerLab does some of the best testing of supplements and some foods. They also do a great job of summarising the peer-reviewed science for each supplement. I just wish they could cover more!

I asked about a product and was told you would be doing tests on it next month.

I've subscribed to CL for years--and given gift subscriptions to family & friends who are concerned about supplement quality. There's no one else doing this important work of vetting commercial brands and verifying that their claims are actually valid. Between their rigorous product testing and comprehensive analysis of the clinical studies/medical literature, there's not a better source of information. I also like that they compile and incorporate the work of other companies such as Lead Safe Mama to provide a more complete picture when possible. One example of how they operate is their current article on fish oils. it's a deep dive into education on EPA, DHA, etc. They not only talk about the types and subtypes but compare a number of brands to the 2 prescription oils currently available. (An important medical journal article came out this spring.)

There should be a simplified writeup synopsis/conclusion for those of us who are not scientific. This could be done before the detailed writeup put thereafter.

When searching for Top Picks in menu, it should be made easier to go directly there.

it researches and supplies information that one should know about the truth that products say on their labels. also, whether there are too much of the correct ingredients as well as harmful ingredients. it can make companies accountable. it will also look into claims about products to see if there any believable/comprehensive research to support those claims. it guides purchases with the information.

I rely on the testing and research to inform my choices for supplements and to decide whether or not to take them.

Reliable evidence-based discussions and recommendations. Vitamins/supplements is a murky area of health care. Curating data with intermittent searches can be sketchy. That makes this site worth the annual fee to have access to information compiled by people who have training and experience.

I really wish that you would review more ORGANIC products.

Tod Cooperman looks and sounds like a good man with principles, and a keen eye for rigorous science. I have been reading and listening to him for many years. Could any company or billionaire shyster offer him a chalet in France, or millions for a sick relative's care any day of the week -- in return for a false positive review? Yup. We would see it on his face though. He has been making the world better for a long time. Keep that integrity, Dr. Tod and thank you!!

I have been subscribing to consumer lab for years and I truly appreciate their testing and scientific reviews. In many cases, I decided against a supplement because their thorough analysis demonstrated no advantage (or a questionable one). I rely on consumer lab when making lots of food and supplement decisions.

The site is an invaluable source of information about and testing of consumer foods and supplements that we rely on in our purchasing decisions. We also think that this transparency helps to police the marketplace to some degree, cutting through the hype.
