Are you actually joking me?

Are you actually joking me?! I ordered yesterday morning (Saturday 17th August 2024) they arrived with me today at 11am (Sunday 18th August) and they're amazing. I'm actually over the moon. Great service, great price, amazing product. I'm quite blown away tbh at the speed and the quality.

**Quality Products, but App Issues and Misleading Pricing and Shipping**

I chose Contrado because of their unique and high-quality products, which aren't typically available through traditional print-on-demand services.

Last fall, they informed artists about their focus on developing their drop shipping business. I decided to be patient with the transition, but several issues with their app and services have arisen:

- I placed test orders using test credit card numbers and clearly fake data. Their automated system processed these without any checks, resulting in an $800 charge to cover what was obviously a test order. This raises serious concerns about their ability prevent actual fraudulent orders.
- An app update caused all variants for over 100 products I imported into Shopify to display the same price. This issue has persisted for over two weeks without resolution.
- Another update corrupted all product images for their lampshade products, making them impossible to list for sale.
- Despite the information on their website, shipping costs are exorbitant. I factored in a maximum shipping price of $35.95 for a large item based on the information provided by their site, only to be hit with an additional $360 "bulky" shipping fee when fulfilling an order via Etsy. Customer service was apologetic but ultimately unhelpful, leaving me with a significant loss and a canceled order, affecting my standing on Etsy.

These issues have severely impacted my business, resulting in over four months of lost time creating products, transferring them to Shopify, and manually addressing numerous bugs. I no longer feel confident in continuing with Contrado and will seek a new production partner. Proceed with caution.

Regarding the automated orders, I'd like to clarify that Contrado processes orders and charges your PayPal account if auto PayPal debit is enabled. If you're still in the testing phase, I recommend disabling this feature. This way, orders won't be processed automatically, and you can manually confirm payments for each order before we proceed with printing.

As your two accounts are interlinked, we can't differentiate between testing and legitimate orders based solely on payment status. Our system is designed to process orders promptly once payment is confirmed to avoid unnecessary delays.

I'll personally review your concerns and work to resolve any other issues you've encountered. We truly appreciate your understanding and patience.

Buyer BEWARE!

After leaving the review below, someone from Contrado did at last reach out to offer an acceptable solution. Based on this, my initial experience may have been atypical.

I ordered a seating chart piece from contrast that arrived with odd grey lines down the sides uneven to the piece or edges. I went back and forth with their horrible customer service, which often took over 24 hours to respond, for a week until my wedding had passed and I had paid another company to print on foam board instead (same exact file by the way and wow! No grey lines) I said multiple times it was for a wedding and had a deadline. Finally after the deadline, they offered to reprint it. Buyer beware of bad ethics, bad customer service, bad quality.

Beautiful quality, quick delivery

I’ve placed a couple of orders with Contrado recently and been very happy with the result. I printed children’s art on silk to be used as scarves and the quality is beautiful. The orders shipped quickly as well, faster than expected.

There was a little issue with one order where a piece was left out, and the customer service responded right away, stayed in communication, and took care of the missing piece quickly. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they handled. I will definitely use Contado again!

Patience and Competence

Tejas was patient and tried to work fast in my order. The system has many limitations and Tejas was always positive and competent helping me. I felt Tejas paid attention to detail and provided good customer service.

Great prices, excellent quality photo canvas, a great addition to our home. When there was a problem with the order the agent was polite, helpful and informed me of the status of the order every step of the way. Would order again.

Shirt design came out really nice

Shirt design came out really nice. Better than I anticipated with its complexity. You lose one star due to the shirt sleeves being slightly uneven in length. The left arm sleeve is awkward in length shortness compared to the right arm sleeve. It is a short sleeve shirt but the left arm looks to be about half the length of the right side.

extreme disappointment experience

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment experience with my recent order with contrado , placed on 2/21/2024. Despite the promised 2-4 day production period, it took 5 days to finish and ship 16 out of 19 items. Frustratingly, two bags were never started, prompting my cancellation. The promised immediate shipment of the last item, a belt, remains unfulfilled.

Unfortunately, customs is holding the incomplete shipment due to insufficient product information, leading to the loss of a crucial presentation opportunity with investors. Despite 8 days passing, I have been unable to contact customs or receive satisfactory assistance from the help desk.

Extremely happy with this company

Extremely happy with this company. I had to order something unusual and needed 4 large photos on fabric for a theatre production on stage. I spoke with Yash and he was so helpful in figuring out the best fabric for my needs. It needed to be perfect and he spent time walking me through the entire process. He even followed up with me a few days later to update me on the order. I needed it fast and received it in less than a week.

I will definitely use this company again. Very impressed with the quality of the photos and the customer service.

This was my first time doing business with Contrado…

This was my first time doing business with Contrado and probably my last. How can you trust a company that doesn't deliver what you ordered and paid for? Had a puzzle printed for my Great grandson, the design wasn't flagged and the image I specified in the design was used to confirm the order. It was not what I received! They finally got back to me with promises to quickly resolve the issue, over 2 weeks ago! No conversation and still not resolved. It doesn't matter who you are or how much money you're spending. . . you expect to get what you paid for, especially if the order has been confirmed! At the very least, decent customer care that's going to resolve the issue. Don't expect that from Contrado. Very disappointing.

March 4, - This is an update. I responded via email to their reaction to my review. We agreed to a reprint of the same design. My edit was to make the images a little larger, just in case. I just read Contrado's posted response. No revision to my original review. Just wish I could post the images of what was ordered and what was received. I'm through with it. Lesson learned

Excellent customer service

I had an excellent experience with Contrado. I gave them a design to put on a fully sublimated towel. They helped me edit it to my preferences very quickly that day, while I was chatting with the rep. They were very nice, and the custom towel was here in less than a week.

Absolutely horrible product with worse customer service!

Absolutely horrible customer service. Blamed me for the design not being correct, tin being dented and so on. Product is terrible, not as advertised at all. Its cheap poor quality materials that are being falsely advertised as high end, recycled and eco friendly. I would have been better buying this myself on alibaba, instead of going through these horrible middlemen.

I ordered a tin, which came dented and with a different design than the one in the editor and it was missing the tag on the scarf that I had designed. It was a birthday gift for my wife, which I ended up not being able to give and had to change plans last minute.

Offered me a 25% coupon on my next order to make it right or destroy the product... I dont think so.

Will not be returning and do not recommend!

I received response immediately. Contrado even started a further conversation about my order to make sure everything ended up as I most wanted. The fabric was fast put in to production and I received it only a week after I placed the order (in another country even). Thank you Kajal for your great service. Looking forward to order again.

A+ Customer Service A+ Quality

The customer service at Contrado is extremely proactive. They were reaching out to me immediately confirming the order had been placed, letting me know of the next steps on their end, and overall timeframe. I had messed up the original artwork I sent over, and they were able to point that out me and worked to fix it before going to final production. We will definitely be coming back for more company swag in the future!

I order a custom track jacket for my…

I order a custom track jacket for my new clothing brand and it looked like it came from a homeless person after they has sex on it. There were stains, what looked like little burns, the graphics don’t line up and the color is super crappy. Cannot even put it on for something sticking me in my right arm. Horrible experience. I would never recommend anyone try this. Overly priced trash and bad quality construction with stains and idk what else this is. Looks like dried semen. Bad business all around!

Exceeded expectations!

So far, I've ordered two custom unframed canvas prints for use in a novel product I make and sell online. I needed an odd size of 13.5" x 47", and I wasn't sure how well it would come out or work for my application.

The first canvas was more of a proof of concept for my product, and I was very pleased with the quality but a little disappointed that it came folded in a bubble envelope and thus had creases I had to iron out with some difficulty. I contacted them about the creases, and they were very responsive. They said to contact them on my next order so they could add a note to my order in regards to shipping.

I followed their instruction for my second order and this time it came rolled and packaged carefully to avoid any creases! I was extremely satisfied with their customer service, and the quality of the canvas print is fantastic.

Highly recommend. If you have any issues, reach out to their customer service folks and they will do their best to make you happy.

Cost Up; Quality Down

I used Contrado in February 2023 and had a great experience ordering a custom print on cotton calico. The printing quality was excellent, the fabric was soft, and the price was very reasonable, about $30 USD. Then last month (June 2023) I tried to order the same thing with a different custom print, but the price had sky-rocketed to $120 USD and when I received the print the cotton fabric was stiff, not soft like the previous order. The quality of the image was still high. I found a much better site on Etsy with higher quality fabric and lower prices, similar to my experience with Contrado in February: EcoPrintFabric
