I have been using creations buy now pay later for some years but my last experience was awful before a lady called Khwezi stepped in.
Had 2 active account., I paid off one completely but instead of them taking it out and closing th account, they took off some money from a bigger account and still left 3 accounts active. This made my interest free period to be over on 2 accounts instead of 1. So one account was £569 and the other account £589. I paid £569 and instead of them to close the account, they took the money from £589 and left both accounts active.
This caused a lot of frustration. They didn't want to help, charged me the full interest £43 to finish paying off the remaining £20.
Also they took me to debt collectors and kept saying I'm in arrears even though I pay by direct debit. I asked to speak with the manager who wasn't helpful either.
The day I got Khwezi, thank goodness, she said she believes there's a problem with a setting in my account, that she will look into it and call me back in a few days.
I was really happy that for once, someone was taking their time to listen to me and to solve the problem. The best, she actually called me back after about 5 days and said that she has managed to fix the issue

Unacceptable Privacy Practices and Misleading Information

I am extremely frustrated with both Wren Kitchens and their finance partner, Creation Finance.

When I requested my GDPR data from Wren Kitchens, I was shocked to see that their records claimed the kitchen was "signed off" as complete and that I was "satisfied." This is completely false and misleading. The kitchen was far from complete, and serious safety issues were never addressed. To make matters worse, payments from Creation Finance were taken after the kitchen was "signed off," but the necessary paperwork had not been completed. These payments were also taken without my authorization, which is a serious violation.

The real problem came with Creation Finance. When I asked for my GDPR data, they insisted I provide my passport details to receive it. This is completely unreasonable and raises serious concerns about my privacy. There is no valid reason why they need such sensitive information when I am simply requesting access to my own data.

As a result of their mishandling of my personal information and unauthorized payments, I’ve had to involve the Financial Ombudsman, who has now taken the case. I’ve also reported Creation Finance to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for their breach of GDPR regulations. This entire situation could have been avoided if they had simply followed proper procedures and treated their customers with respect.

Given that payments were taken without proper authorization, I believe all payments made under these circumstances should be fully refunded. Under UK law, specifically the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and the Payment Services Regulations 2017, consumers are entitled to refunds for unauthorized transactions. By failing to follow the proper procedures, both Wren Kitchens and Creation Finance are violating consumer protection laws.

I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with these companies, as they have shown a complete disregard for customer satisfaction, privacy, and proper business practices.

Multiple times I have contacted…

Multiple times I have contacted customer service and my issue has yet to be resolved. This has been happening for well over 1 year now. I do not have a creations account but yet on my banking app credit score a creations account shows and keeps showing I have missed a payment? When I do not have a an account. This is massively affecting my credit score, its even put a default on my name. How is this fair? How will this be resolved. I never get any further than customer service and they just fob me off. I NEED HELP WITH THIS ISSUE.

When I called them they really wasn’t bothered, as I’m not the account holder they can’t talk to me about the account, they can however send other peoples letters to me. This company clearly do not do any searches before handing people credit. I have been advised to inform the ombudsman. I am really disappointed about this. How many letters do they need to have returned to them?

I received a email saying that i need to get untouched …

I received a email saying that I was in arrears with my account and that I needed to get intouch and I spoken with Jay from customer service and he told me that sometimes direct debit can close after awhile when not in use or that the agent at curry's didn't make sure the direct debit was actually set up properly which incurred me having a penalty of £30 for late payment as this wasn't my fault they have waved this charge and I have brought my account up to date with them today I appreciate that Jay was helpful and understanding of my issues regarding this in all my time having credit with creations I have never once missed a payment and this was a total shock that this was to happen I felt that though this wasn't anything to do with my part that I was given a penalty charge is totally unacceptable and wrong company's really should make sure that these are set up properly you give the information that they require at point of sale and its down to their capabilities to make sure its put in place correctly and no mistakes I wonder how many people have been court out by this kind of error but all ended as expected Jay was polite at all times and sorted it thank you

After an initial mistake with my credit agreement WHICH was not the fault of creations or myself I gave a bad review. The creations team spoke to me this morning and have sorted the problem out completely to my satisfaction. Thank you Stephen I have to say your where very helpful and thank you again for sorting the problem out 100 % 5 star service.

I had issues trying to complete a financial statement online. Reiss offered to do a financial statement over the phone instead. He was patient and polite which is really important when you have financial worries!

Brilliant …

Daniel at creation is a credit to your company he is friendly helpful polite and always has time to listen i have brain damage and is so attentive I have never had a problem with creation or there staff and would recommend them to anybody keep up the good work creation

Clunky process.. not worth the time

Unfortunately a process that is supposed to make life easier, is not fit for purpose and is quite clunkyto say the least.
I had purchased an IPhone in Curry's using the Creation account as a gift.
Came in the next day to upgrade to a higher model. Was told that I cannot pay the difference as this was bought through finance and that a refund followed by a new purchase had to be done.
Despite the total of both purchases being still within the 2500 limit allowed, I was told that I was referred to finance for another decision and it would take 24 hrs.
I had been approved the day before, with no issues.
So now I had to give back the phone I have, and not able to get one and wait for 24hrs, knowing that ai have a flight tonight overseas.
I just bought the phon using my credit card instead.
Not going to be doing business with this flexpay account again.
