Easy to order the item online. Checked availability when I ordered on the 28/09/26 and it stated estimated delivery date from the warehouse to the store on the 30/09/26 as I selected the click and collect delivery. Still waiting today on the 01/10/26. To be fair in small print it did state subject to availability on the order. The price was good and I took out the three year extended warranty, so I am sure it will be well worth the wait 🤞

The young lady on the till was very helpful. Very pleasant to talk to and sorted my order. As I was on the Riverside shopping site I went in on the off chance that my order was ready, I hadn't as then got my collection code but took the chance rather than make a extra journey, and she was so helpful.

The team came down from Stevenage to cover Northampton depot due to driver sickness.

Assistant (vacuum cleaning Dept) was polite, knowledgeable, patient and understanding our questions. She explained everything and showed us how the appliance broke down in various parts.

The sales lady (Morag) was very helpful in guiding us to making the best choice for our fridgefreezer. She never made us feel rushed in any way. She may only now work weekends, but has been with the company since 1983. No price can be paid for that amount of experience and loyalty

We went with a particular size and type of TV in mind. Staff member - Lisa - could see we were looking at a particular model and politely asked if she could help. With her knowledge of your products, her advice was invaluable so much so we have bought the ideal TV for our kitchen.

She made sure it was in stock and we were able to take it home that afternoon. Thank you, Lisa, your customer service and informative knowledge was excellent. Thank you.

Your associate, Ian, provided amazing customer service. He sourced a suitable camera for my desktop. He was informative and patient.

I was passing the Northampton riverside branch, and as I had been looking at 3 new Tapu cameras and a new iPad I decided to pop in and support a proper shop.
I went in walked around identified the exact items I wanted and they were all locked in cabinets. I looked at customer service which was unstaffed. I tried to catch the eye of a male shop assistant and he turned and almost ran down the washing machine aisle. I went towards a group of three shop floor assistants who were in an argument with a customer. I said “excuse me” and one of them spun round and said no I’m with a customer and turned her back. I just decided that I could order on line which i did and got the three cameras and iPad Pro the next day from Amazon.
If I ever feel that I’ll support local shops again I’ll think of Currys and get over it.
