Great selection to VIEW in store, but none of the three options for food processors that we'd seen and wanted were available to BUY there. Ordering and collection process were easy and quicker than expected though. Staff fun and helpful.

I ordered a new washing machine from Currys, including paid installation and recycling of my old machine. When the delivery team arrived on 30/09/2026, one of the installers broke the washing machine valve knob while trying to turn off the water supply. He later admitted he should have used the mains stopcock instead.

The damage caused a leak, and at first he tried to claim it was already leaking but when i pointed the quantity of the water leakage is so small means the damaged valve is the reason for the leakage and he then backtracked. He then told me he couldn’t fix it and advised me to hire a plumber myself and claim the repair and installation costs back through Currys customer services.

I followed his advice, paid a local plumber to repair the valve and complete the installation, and then tried to claim the costs back. That’s when I discovered the delivery team had reported to the depot that installation and recycling were fully completed — even though my old washing machine is still in my apartment.

So now I’m left with repair costs, an installation I paid for but didn’t receive, and a recycling service that never happened. I also have photos of the leaking valve and the broken knob as evidence.

Extremely disappointed with the service and the inaccurate reporting by the delivery team. Currys needs to take responsibility for this and should make it easier to address this issue in the future. Or at least make sure the delivery men are properly trained. The burden to sort the mess caused by their delivery is placed on the customer
