Staff very helpful and able to spend time with customers.

Buying online is always easy with Currys, I chose to collect from my local store in Wakefield and the young lady (Shania) was very helpful and easy to chat with, friendly but professional, a credit to the company.

Absolutely disgusted with how Currys handled today’s Pokémon drop.

We joined the queue specifically to get something for our 4-year-old, who had been incredibly excited about the release. We were assured by staff that there was enough stock for everyone, so we waited patiently for around 45 minutes.

Only to find out that there wasn’t enough stock at all.

We personally saw someone leaving with two ETBs plus four other Pokémon products, while other customers — including families with excited children — were left with nothing. Even worse, Currys allowed three adults from the same group to purchase one of each product, despite the obvious limited availability.

Why on earth were there no sensible purchase limits in place?

Staff were also making mistakes with people’s purchases left, right and centre, adding even more chaos and frustration to an already badly managed release. Eventually, when someone asked whether more stock was being brought out, we were simply told “no, it’s done.”

The whole thing was an absolute shambles from start to finish. If stock is limited, there should be clear and fair purchase limits so that more customers actually get a chance to buy something — rather than allowing people to clear out multiple products while others stand around waiting.

What makes it worse is that we trusted what the staff told us about there being enough stock. Our 4-year-old was left disappointed after we had spent 45 minutes queuing based on that information.

Absolutely appalling customer service and organisation. I will never shop at Currys again.

Provided technical information to help me choose which product to buy. Courteous and polite. Made experience easy.

She was very polite and went out of her way to find out the correct answer to any questions I had. She found the better deals on protection for my new laptop, over all a great experience. This is for currys wakefield

I called in to look for a new tablet, I'm not very good with technology but the staff member who helped me was very good and answered my questions in terms that I could understand. I was advised when delivery would be and it was available earlier than expected. I am now using new tablet to write this
review.

Not enough staff in store. Picked washer I wanted without any advice and then waited over 30 minutes until the only member of staff there was free.
I was not the only customer waiting.

Delivery and installation on time and done quickly by friendly staff.

Your staff are none existent. Sat looking at computer screens , chatting between themselves. Looking after clients who are looking at the really expensive stuff. I went to stand in full view of two staff one never looked up from the computer. The other looked at me then kept running after lady looking at expensive fridges. Though she didn’t purchase one.
In the end I interrupted the person on the computer. They were very nice and helpful and polite and helped me purchase my new vacuum cleaner.
I dread coming to curry’s. It’s getting worse every time I have to purchase something.
No body cares it’s looks like the staff don’t want to be there and they certainly don’t want to serve customers.
I shall go elsewhere next time. I can’t cope with it anymore.

Absolutely shocking delivery, they refused to bring my 140kg fridge from our gate into our house. There were no safety issues at all. We had to struggle with it ourselves. They left us with all the cardboard and we had paid for recycling.
I have phoned 3 times now and each time I was promised a call back from a manager within 24 hours and this has not happened.
It is really difficult to get through on the phone and there is no email address.
Another issue prior to buying this particular model, we were looking at a different cheaper model but was told it needed to be plumbed in, even though it said not on the description. A few days later when we went back to the store, a lady told us it definitely didn't need plumbing and the previous male needs some training as he had advised us wrong.
The cheaper version we originally wanted was no longer in stock.
Please phone me like promised Currys!

The process of buying was such a smooth experience. The all in one computer is super fast and enjoyable.

Great value product in stock at a store near to me and available to collect within about 20 minutes. No queue when I entered the store to collect the item and out within a couple of minutes. Quick and easy verification process.

Easy to order. Great service.

Elliott was our Customer Services Adviser today at Curry’s in Wakefield and he made our experience seamless. He was friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. He helped us to purchase a washing machine which we took away today. The time to purchase and take it away was very efficient- thank you Elliott!
