Bought a 15,000 BTU AC but They Delivered 14,000 BTU
On August 2, 2025, I paid 51,500 TL for a Daikin air conditioner advertised as 15,000 BTU. When the unit arrived, there was no BTU rating on the box, so I checked the model and found it was actually 14,000 BTU. Even Daikin customer service confirmed this. The dealer still insists “we sell it as 15,000 BTU” despite official technical documents stating Nominal: 14,300 BTU, Max: 14,700 BTU.
I reported this to Daikin multiple times, but they took no action and told me to “deal with the dealer.” Today is August 22, 2025, and there is still no resolution. Customer service is dismissive and unhelpful. This is not the professionalism expected from an international brand. I regret choosing Daikin.
