First class customer service

From the moment I walked into DAVID M ROBINSON in Manchester, I was made to feel genuinely welcome. Every member of staff was friendly, professional, and approachable, creating a relaxed and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

A special thank you goes to Sanaa, whose service was absolutely outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive, taking the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. Her genuine enthusiasm, professionalism, and warm personality made the whole experience truly memorable.

It’s clear that DAVID M ROBINSON takes great pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and that is reflected not only in Sanaa but in the entire team. I left feeling valued as a customer and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to purchase/register for a Rolex.

My wife and I found the experience of buying my Rolex submariner easy and relaxing especially in your beautiful shop, we thought the staff were very helpful and professional especially Angela who guided us through the whole experience.

I booked an appointment with DMR to purchase my wife an Omega watch, I rang the store first and they got the watch sent from another branch in to the Manchester store for me, we went in a few weeks later and met Ben, he took us down into the showroom where the watch was presented to us to look at, also offered champagne too a very nice touch.
Ben was a fantastic ambassador for DMR, not pushing for a sale, he just wanted my wife to be happy with the watch, a very knowledgeable young man and a credit to the store, he sized the strap for my wife and explained the technical functions of the movement etc, excellent service from start to finish...Would I recommend DMR?
Absolutely without hesitation I will be going back in a few months to purchase another watch for myself, the store is on a different level the whole experience was perfect..10/10

Great service from start to finish!

I had emailed the Canary Wharf showroom to arrange to get a watch adjusted. Turned out my old contact had left but I received a call very quickly from Charley Cooke. Super friendly, said of course just bring it in and we can do it on the spot. I mentioned I liked a newly released watch and Charley said she’d make a note just in case. A few weeks later Charley called to say they should be getting one in, in a few days. Amazing! So I went into their lovely new showroom - worth going for a browse around to see some lovely pieces. Glass of champagne on arrival, adjusted my current watch, then unboxed the new one. Loved it!
Charley was brilliant from start to finish, super friendly and knowledgeable.
Highly recommended 5⭐️

Fantastic experience at DMR Manchester

Absolute fantastic experience with Craig and the team at DMR Manchester once again,I’ve being using DMR since 2018 and the they’ve never disappointed not just supplying the watches we’ve been patient and waited for but the way you get a 1st class treatment from registering an expression of interest to receiving your desired time piece(jewellery)they always keep you well informed and you never feel like you are any trouble when asking about progress on the item you desire,I’ve got to mention the beautiful showroom and all,thank you Craig and the team and one million percent we’ll be back to see you all again someday soon🙏🏻

Engagement ring purchase

I’ve been a customer of David M Robinson in Manchester for over 10 years so when the time came to buy my girlfriend an engagement ring there was no one else I trusted more to deliver and that they did. Craig was kind enough to take me through the process from start to finish and gave me all the time and information I needed to make the right decision on the perfect ring and the most important purchase I have ever made. I can’t thank them enough for making the whole experience soo special. The customer service and aftercare has been outstanding.

First class service

I went to collected my Rolex GMT after 12 months lead time, really enjoyed the whole experience provided by Summer in DMR Manchester. She is always listening, understanding different occasions and professional in all aspects, I really look forward to going back to get more watches in future.

I first visited DMR in Manchester in…

I first visited DMR in Manchester in April 2024 where i had put my name down for a Rolex DateJust 41 in Mint with the Jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel. I was told by Arousa it would take some time due to the high demand of this model. Arousa kept me updated every 3/4 months and 2 weeks ago i finally got my watch. However due to Arousa being on holiday i was greeted by Bryan on the day of my pick up. He showed me everything about the watch and also gave me some Rolex goodies😍. Both Arousa and Bryan gave me 10/10 service and i have also put my name down for another Rolex.

Incredible Service and Experience

My experience of buying a watch was incredible. And along with the fact that DMR is a great brand and they have great atmosphere, but above all it is people like Mel Ricks who was our Client Manager. Mel is lovely, extremely professional and really understands her products well. She went through the timepiece and its intricate details with us, which made me feel very comfortable and happy. With major credit to Mel, I would highly recommend DMR for watches and jewellrey.

St Anne's Square store

I bought my dream watch from DMR, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Charley, who sold me the watch, was first-rate, answered all the questions I had, and made what could have been a daunting process very, very easy. She is a credit to DMR.

Watch buying nightmare — avoid

I purchased a Tudor Black Bay 58 on fabric with an additional bracelet from DMR in April 2026 to commemorate the birth of my first child.

Upon collection, the fabric strap was too short. I left the watch with Alex at the Manchester store while a longer strap was supposedly ordered by Victoria.

After three weeks with no update, I chased the matter myself and returned to collect the watch, only to be told that Tudor don't make a longer fabric strap after all, suggesting I source a third party strap myself or purchase a Tudor leather strap at a cost of hundreds of pounds. No apology for the wasted wait and no offer to contribute towards the cost.

While collecting the watch, I inspected it in the Tudor boutique opposite DMR. I noticed the dial was covered in dust or oxidised particles beneath the crystal. Dan, the Boutique Manager, agreed the watch was faulty after checking with two watchmakers and arranged a replacement.

I specifically asked for the replacement to be thoroughly checked before it was sent to me. I was assured by Dan that it would be.

The bracelet I had also purchased required sizing and was sent away separately. A few days later, the replacement watch arrived at my home. On opening the package, I found a chip, scratches on the case and a damaged bracelet screw on what I had been told was a brand new watch.

Neither the first nor the second watch had swing tags on the boxes. Draw your own conclusions.

DMR apologised, but the response felt perfunctory. Before accepting the refund, I enquired about exchanging the watch for another model as a way to keep my business with them. This was ignored entirely. Their final resolution was simply to refund me. No goodwill gesture, no acknowledgement of the time and inconvenience caused for what was supposed to be a special occasion, just a generic apology.

What disappointed me most was the way I was treated throughout. Despite spending several thousand pounds on a luxury watch, I was left feeling like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. At no stage did resolving the issues feel like a priority, even after the first watch was confirmed faulty and I had specifically requested the replacement be checked before dispatch. Had I been spending more or a more prestigious brand perhaps my experience would have differed. I was also told the watch was the last one as it was being discontinued, yet they're still for sale on the website at the time of writing this.

What should have been a special purchase to commemorate the birth of my first child turned into a frustrating and time consuming experience involving repeated quality issues, delays, multiple trips and constant chasing for updates.

Finally, I was told my refund had been processed three days before the actual date shown on the refund receipt.

Two months. Two defective watches. Three different salespeople.
It's really not good enough.

I informed Tudor directly of my experience as I do not believe this is the standard Tudor expects from its authorised dealers.

My advice to buyers: inspect any watch carefully with a watchmaker's loupe before accepting it, regardless of any assurances given. Better still, avoid this business entirely.

Great service from Canary Wharf and Baron

I wanted to buy my wife a special watch for a landmark birthday. Baron at the Canary Wharf store could not have been more helpful in guiding us through the options available, and just as importantly kept me informed about the ordering process using WhatsApp. He managed to source the piece we wanted in time for my wife’s birthday too, which was a welcome bonus!
