After reading through the bad reviews I'm quite surprised, I had no issues whatsoever . I ordered my plates on a Sunday evening, sent off copies of the relevant docs etc. Monday morning I had an email to confirm that the docs had been received and the plates were being made. Monday evening, another email to confirm that they'd been dispatched. Plates arrived Wednesday morning, good quality acrylic, not those sticker on abs type.
I'm impressed, couldn't have asked for better service.

Excellent service, quick delivery. Clear about the legal requirements for ordering plates and offered additional advice regarding what verifications docs were needed. Very pleased and would recommend.

Nice plates but I have stopped using them because I asked for no advertising and they still put their logo on them, none means none not even a small logo and they even confirmed by email this was the case "All our number plates are supplied with our legal markings on which are situated in the bottom corner of your plates." not true.

Absolute waste of money and time , avoid at all costs . Read all the small print but go to someone who will do what you think they will do . Email confirming what will be done to the showplate , ie remove conformaty logos but then also change the spacing .

Fraudsters plain and simple.

Order one item and they send another, then refute the need to correct their mistake.

Avoid at all costs and order elsewhere.

Great plates for both our cars and very quick delivery.

I've tried using other plate companies (and have invariably been let down by them) over the years but I've always ended up with a Demon Plate on my past 5 bikes. The website is super easy to use and the choice of materials, badges etc is really good, as is the quality of the finish plate.

OK, there were a few issues with my most recent order but I can't fault how it has been dealt with. Their communication has been excellent and they have provided a very good service. I now have a fab looking plate to finish off my new bike.

Bought the number plates with spacers which allowed me to do on website,message came up after saying left to many spaces do I want to continue or go back to correct I chose continue.
I get message asking for ownership papers which I agreed to send email saying there not going on a car so no issues ,at this point they say they can send the plates now without proof of ownership which surely can’t be true.
The
Plates come with the spaces I asked for not correct even though the draft copy they sent shows the spaces.
Emailed them for them to tell me they were correct as they can’t send plates with incorrect spaces even though I had to send email stating they were for
Personal use and not for a car.
Since further email no reply proper scammers there mistakes and they don’t wanna correct the issue.
PLEASE BE AWARE ANY ISSUES WONT GET RESOLVED SO BEWARE BEFORE ORDERING MUCH BETTER COMPANIES OUT THERE WISH I HAD READ THESE REVIEWS FIRST.

Needed a very small but legal plate for a 6 digit reg with 1 + I in that I recently purchased for my enduro bike. I sent out many emails and demon was the 1st to get back to me (within an hour) they knew exactly what I wanted and offered it to me at a great price especially for a bespoke size. Delivery was very quick even with R/M striking.

Next time I need a plate I won't hesitate to use demon

Disgusting company! I ordered the plates and enclosed an image of my retention certificate and drivers licence. Heard nothing for 9 days so rang them. They said they sent me an email to say that the images were too small to read, so I asked them to refund my money because I needed them now. They said it was too late as they had made the plates! I said then your running an illegal business! The lady was rude and said that the terms and conditions stated that they needed proof of ownership. Well I could read the images. So what if you haven’t got a scanner as by the time you have ordered the plates and paid you then get informed of the requirment of an image not being good enough 9 days later when you phone. This company is not helpful in the least, out to take your money and abusive! I still have not got my plates 11 days later - avoid and try another company. If you look at all my other reviews they are 99 percent 5 stars!

Absolute bureaucratic nonsense, very unclear site, should have the ability to upload documents if it’s mandatory before taking your money and then just not being in contact.

Easy to use website with good design. Ordered new style standard plates (front and back) with the UK identifier and black border. Looks good and handled each stage of the order promptly.

I strongly suggest you take the bad reviews mentioning ID requirements with a pinch of salt, seen as this IS a legal requirement set out by the UK Gov. People are quite happily publishing company’s whom are operating illegally as an alternative…

Very shady company no order confirmation even though payment was taken sent email 10 minutes later asking to cancel my order due to their trustpilot reviews and lack of order confirmation. No response to any emails or calls so I contacted my card issuer and went with another company now out of the blue they have appeared saying the order is complete and they are unwilling to cancel. AVOID AT ALL COSTS DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE COWBOYS (went with NUMBER1PLATES in the end and was a very smooth ordering process and great customer service from start to finish)

Very happy with the service from Demon Plates. Easy to use website and the plates and fixing kit are of good quality.

Proof of ID and your entitlement to use the plate will be required but as far as I'm aware this should be standard practice. The last time I went in person to a motor factors for plates it was no different.

Think carefully if you are looking to use this unprofessional company, especially if they make a mistake with your plates, and send you the wrong shaped plates as they did me.

Having selected the correct model specific plate shape for my Range Rover sport using the online number plate builder. I thought everything went smoothly until I received the plates which were a different shape to what I had ordered, or that of the shape ordered on the website. I sent them photos/measurements which clearly highlighted the problem, only to be told it was the correct plate, which was nonsense!

They agreed to replace the plate, but I was very disappointed that I was asked to return the plate that was sent out in error as this was clearly a mistake on their part, and not one that I as a customer should be inconvenienced by.

In addition, I was expected to pay return shipping costs to return a plate that was of no use to anyone, when all that was needed was for me to have broken it in two, and sent you a photograph. Instead, I was expected to wait a week for a replacement plate while they were awaiting the return of the faulty plate?

It would have been nice to have received an apology for the inconvenience caused from whoever was replying to the numerous back and forth emails, unfortunately they were not signed off by anyone, so who knows who I was dealing with? Never a good sign when it comes to customer service?

I asked them for their response, and also, if I would be reimbursed for the return shipping costs.

Fantastic service! Excellent website, well set out and easy to use. Once the order was placed and the necessary documents sent electronically (as required by law), the plates were dispatched the received the following day (by RM snail mail - free). Demoin Plates kept me fully informed at each stage of the process.
The plates themselves are as described and of excellent quality. I would highly recommend this company.

Despite the previous reviewers comments, I am a genuine customer and believe that their procedures to verify entitlement to a registration is justified.

I stongly suspect the 5 star reviews are fake. No other site requires such ridiculous ID requirements after purchase. They don't say a word prior to checkout either. I think it's a con site TBH. I've just sent the below and will post what, if anything, comes back...

i have just purchased plates for a work vehicle as i need to tow a horsebox next week. I am not the owner, nor do i live at the delivery address.

As such, i cannot provide the documents required and i think it incredibly duplicitous for you to add those requirement T&C's after checkout. I have purchased plates online several times before and never had to provide compliance documents..

Please cancel the order asap (placed less than 4 minutes ago).

I nearly didn't buy my plates from here, based on some of the reviews. I'm glad I took the chance. Easy ordering, very simple to upload my documents (and an almost instant response saying they had been checked ok), a few days later and I have my plates delivered, and they are great quality too. Can't ask for much more!
