Sofa found with the help of Aleem.
The whole family went to DFS Oxford on Botley Road. We encountered a very helpful and competent young man called Aleem who found the right sofa for us! He informed us about the difference sizes, the difference in quality of the foam, delivery options etc. etc. We felt very well looked after, even being offered coffee! We decided for a sofa with a lounger in dark grey and it'll be delivered mid March. So all good and I can really recommend the DFS in Oxford. Not only Aleem, but all members of staff are friendly and helpful.

Cheryl was amazing, was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. She made our experience at dfs smooth, stress free, and we were happy for her to be part of a milestone in our relationship in buying our first sofa as couple. We got exactly what we were looking for and more. We felt that Cheryl is very good at what she does and could have sold us a toothbrush in a sofa shop if she wanted to🤩. great company to deal with couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Relaxing way to buy a sofa
We were given the time to walk round the showroom, without being 'pressed' to buy something. When we had decided on what to buy, their professional sales assistant took us through the purchase. All very relaxed and informative.

My experience was great because of Cheryl !
My experience was made great by the very helpful Sales Assistant - Cheryl. Who obviously knew her product range + the additional extras that could be bought to supplement my buying experience. One small 'niggle' point the Automatic Doors were not open when I arrived at 10.00 am and had to enter the store through a delivery door. I then had to go in search of a Sales Assistant (it was a bit like the Marie Celeste) - when I found Cheryl. It would have been nice for some-one to be visible at the 'front door'- even if they were 'not open'

Dishonesty
Ordered a matching 2 seater sofa to go with my 3 seater. Told this came with 2 of the cushions when purchasing. Only one arrived. Flagged up on delivery. Manager called me back, saying this was correct and refused to send the second cushion but told me I could buy one from them for £60! Over £2k on sofas and £200 on delivery! Terrible service. You have lost any future purchase from me

After looking into the order and the proof of delivery images we can confirm you have all the cushions that are included with this sofa. We apologise for any confusion caused at the point of sale but any additional cushions would be chargeable.

A nightmare from start to finish
We went to DFS Oxford where we were approached by one of the staff members who chose to only address my partner and ignore me. He spent most of the time chatting rather than doing his job and as a result gave the finance company the wrong email address meaning they didn’t send us any paperwork, delaying the delivery process. Before this, the company messed up the order number and I had to make several phone calls to confirm we paid our deposit as they were saying we hadn’t when we in fact had. We went back to the store the next week to talk to the sales rep who sold us the sofa and he saw us and deliberately avoided us. We finally got the money sorted and then when the delivery company called to confirm our time slot they said a certain time and were an hour and a half later than confirmed. They then proceeded to plonk the sofa pieces in our living room and told my partner to assemble it himself when we were under the impression that we had paid for delivery and assembly of the sofa. The sofa itself is lovely, but the service was unnecessarily stressful from start to finish. A bad experience all round so would not recommend DFS for anyone.
