DFS Furniture - Tottenham Court Road Opiniones 

I wouldnt even give 1 star to DFS, we bought a sofa for first time with DFS and they unpacked one part of sofa before bringing it up and damaged the sofa. We complaint many times but DFS took 6 months to send someone round to check this and when the operative arrived he didnt know what the issue was. Therefore this showed very poor level of service and disappointment of shopping with DFS. We would never buy from DFS again.

If I could give a minus 5 stars I would. My wife and I bought a sofa in June 2021, a beautiful stone corner sofa. We discovered 2 weeks after buying the sofa that it was infested with bedbugs and we called complain and were told we need to deal with it ourselves nd get our own inspection done despite being within the return period. We were then told that there was no way the bedbugs cane from the sofa therefore they would not take responsibility. Have argued for 2 years and asked DFS to collect the sofa and have been ignored. We have had to get rid of beds, wardrobes, bookshelves, tables, etc. After going back and forth with DFS via email, they said they won't collect the sofa and take responsibility unless we had proof. We had to pay extortionate amounts of money to get pest control to check the sofa and the house. Not only did DFS still refuse to collect the sofa, they tried to discredit the pest control company. My family and I have been living in hell because of the sofa and the horrific treatment of DFS. Such disgusting treatment from such a big company. Lovely products but can a company that has a such poor quality control and horrendous customer service really be seen as a trusted retailer?

£1468 sofa bed wore out in 2 years

I bought a 2-seater
white sofa bed in 2019 - I only started using the bed portion in 2021 - however shortly after the springs got weak and I started sinking in. The chair is also almost gone (completely sinking in - I barely weigh 60kg). but that is not covered by warranty.
Dfs came out yesterday and though the frame springs are covered by a 15year warranty - the engineer came in took pictures - said it’s normal wear and tear and the sofa springs are not covered by warranty (the portion sinking in, is the exact part where I sit on). This particular sofa bed has no other springs - so it’s convenient for Dfs to ignore the pains of a customer.
My plan was rent out this property- but due to covid - I have stayed longer - I have wasted £1468 on an actual cheap and ineffective piece of furniture.
Buy only cheap furniture from Dfs. The 15year guarantee is a scam

Terrible!!!
I have been waiting for the delivery of a sofa from DFS for 6 months - I am still waiting. I have been told several times over from the DFS customers service that the DFS manager will call me back but I have still so far had no response. I am appalled by the service I have received from DFS and will never buy any more from DFS.

Still waiting to receive our order. Terrible customer service who do not know what they are doing. Promised delivery date 4 times, all these dates have not been met, given another date and do not have any trust that this would be met. Now been waiting over 10 weeks for our sofa, Due for delivery tomorrow and received text from dfs this morning confirming delivery, then at 2 pm rang and told not being delivered again. Fobbed off with the same old reasons, delivery drivers could be off sick, worrying that 1 driver would cause major issues to deliveries. We will never use this company again dfs is incompetent, inefficient and gives false delivery dates which have no basis in reality. Customer service is appalling. Do not order a sofa from DFS, they have the cheek to charge
£100 for a delivery.

Knowledge and information of product. Friendly service and helpful advice with out any pressure. Aaron was superb.

We ordered a L shape sofa from the Tottenham Court Road Branch. I have to say we couldn’t be happier. The service we have received has been very good. Staff in store, great, communication about progress of sofa, great, delivery time (came early), great and actual delivery great. We absolute love the sofa which is perfect. I think you should give credit where credits due. So we’ll done DFS!

I will never buy at this store again and you should think carefully before buying anything at DFS Tottenham Court Road. During my purchase process I was informed that if the price changed they would match the difference. It indeed happened, and when I asked them about the price match they confirmed they would do it. However, one of the items came faulty and the store team said they would do the price match after I have received the new item. When I informed them the process was concluded, I started to be ignored. I keep sending emails and nothing. The Manager Aaron, who was supposed to see how inconvenient it is is ignoring me as well. The manager is ignoring a client, this is absurd. I have spent almost 4 thousand pounds and I am being treated like nothing. DFS cannot keep their word and make the clients feel bad and ignored. I really hope DFS senior management addresses how clients are treated at the Tottenham Court Road branch.

I brought the Kruze sofa even though no store had it on display. Went to London Tottenham Court Road branch and was seen by Narendra who was patient & brilliant!! The delivery guys were great. I’m happy with my order.

Great in-store staff- friendly and knowledgeable and they took time and effort to make the delivery work. A great shame this store is closing soon but nice to have the great discount as a consequence. Excellent quality armchair and helpful delivery. This is the third large piece of furniture we have bought from DFS and we are always impressed by the quality of workmanship for the value. Our 10 year old sofa still looks like new.

It started off so well. We bought a sofa direct from store and arranged for the delivery by the end of the week. We also paid £85 for the old sofa to be taken away. We wanted it disposed of correctly as we live in Central London and also because we live in a small one bed flat where every inch of space is a premium.
We only have space for one two seater sofa. The guys at the store confirmed we'd get two calls on the day of delivery. One from the drivers coming to collect our old sofa and one from the delivery driver.
On Thursday we received a phone call from a lady at DFS to inform us our sofa was coming Friday. My partner arranged to work from home and we got things ready for the old sofa to be collected.
My partner attempted to contact the lady a couple of times between Thurs and Fri to confirm they were taking away the old sofa but got no response.
On Friday at 11am the delivery drivers called to say they were an hour away. WE asked if they would be also taking the old sofa away as space was a premium and they said they would check.
When they arrived they still hadn't confirmed but bought the new sofa in. My partner asked if they could at least help take the old sofa down stairs so that she could manuovre around the flat. They said no as the collecting drivers had informed them to leave it in the flat. They told her she would be called by that evening. Got to 5 pm and still no call. She called customer service who informed her that DFS had forgotten to book the service on!
She informed them that she had to have the sofa out of the flat as she's not able to deal with stress and limited space and the lady informed her that the manager would call the next day.
No one called Saturday.
No one called Sunday.
No one called Monday.
My partner called DFS again at 5pm. Apparently we have to wait 72 hours from Saturday noon as we had called after 5 on Friday so we'd be lucky if we heard from someone who could actually do something by Wednesday.
So we are now climbing over funiture and dealing with a fire risk due to DFS incompetence.
We would dispose of the sofa ourselves but until we get confirmation from DFS that they are going to refund the £85 for the service they not only failed but FORGOT to provide, we don't want to do anything that risks them screwing us over any further.
Absolutely horrific aftercare and we will be withholding all payments until this is sorted. AVOID.

Lots of options to choose from. Delighted with our choice. Narendra was really helpful, polite and professional and made the whole shopping experience really enjoyable.
